Fun place ... good service ... great food -- and beer! – I love to take my family to this place! We eat here about once a week and, let me tell you, the fresh-made dinner rolls with cinnamon butter are worth a detour if you're within 20 miles of this Texas Roadhouse. The steaks are always cooked exactly right (My favorite is the Dallas Cut, Med-Rare), the cactus blossom and accompanying sauce are quite tasty, the beer is always good and cold, the atmosphere is loud and totally informal. Customers have access to several big bins of peanuts and are encouraged to toss the shells on the floor.

The wait staff is nice and service is always great. Unfortunately, for some reason we haven't figured out yet, they have a high turn over so it's rare to see the same waiter or waitress more than two or three times.

The wait to be seated is always long, but you can call ahead of time and they will put you on the waiting list before you get there. This has always paid off for us; however, if you get there and have to wait long don't despair. You can always order a beer and drink it while you wait! :)

Texas--themed barbecue chain provides carnivores with a family-friendly spot for a hand-cut steak or rack of tender ribs. – In Short
With dozens of locations spread across most of the country, this faux-roadhouse chain has become a dependable spot for families in search of a casual spot for affordable steaks and down-home comfort fare. The playful menu is dotted with kid-friendly titles (chicken "critters," "road kill" chopped sirloin) and options (add caramel and marshmallow to a baked sweet potato for a dollar). In-house hand-cut steaks come in a plethora of cuts and sizes.

That's Texas, all right – Before anything, I must say that the bread rolls are absolutely amazing. They're moist and warm and soft. They even come with cinnamon butter. The rest of the meal is almost as good as the rolls. If you're looking for the country taste, this restaurant will indulge your senses--and not just your tastebuds. The atmosphere of the restaurant looks and feels like the country. Even with scatterings of peanut shells on the floor enhance the atmosphere, bringing a barn-like feel to the restaurant.
