Loved my experience. I will be back for sure. Esp for my couple massage. They were very professional highly recommend this place.
Ugh! – Medicore facial! I think her name was Maureen or Maura or Aquamarine something like that? I definitely expected more pampering for a $75 facial. I also have a hard time taking skin care advice from someone who has so many wrinkles herself.
I was underwhelmed. Maybe the other treatments/staff are better?
LOVE THIS PLACE! – I have been getting my hair cut by Brandy ever since Cottage Retreat was in Riverton. I have NEVER been disappointed. I have referred my sisters and coworkers to her and they have all been very satisfied. I really enjoy the atmosphere at Cottage Retreat and feel very relaxed when I am there. The girls at the front desk have always been very kind and cordial. I absolutely LOVE the $15 mini-spa treatments! They are awesome!
What a delight! – I snuck away from my busy day and just spent some time strolling thru a place called Garnder Village. What a charming experience! Best of all--the Cottage Spa! I found it to be very clean and warm and inviting--it charmed the shoes right off my feet! The pedicure was excellent! Definitely going back to the Cottage for more pampering!
HORRIBLE! – I don't want to give this place even one star, but can't publish without. I was supposed to receive a pedicure and manicure, after 2 hours and $95 later I left with something that looked like my 2 year old niece had given me. Before I even got home my nails were peeling--yes peeling, think little kid fingernail polish that is meant to peel off. I could still see the nail polish on my toes that I had painted on the week before. This is the second time I have been to this spa, both times have been dissapointing. The place is dirty and the service is unprofessional. I want my money back and even more, the two hours of wasted time!
Very Frustrated – I went into the cottage retreat today, and was treated very poorly. I have been there a few times, and never had a problem. This time was enough for me to never want to go back though. I will now be searching for somewhere else to go.
Me and my mom had an appointment there, we were a little late, because it was July 4th weekend, and there was a parade going. Ten minutes to be exact. So when we got there we were told that we could only get a half-hour, instead of an hour for a facial. I set up my appointment by phone, they never told us to be early, and were very uncooperative with us.They said all we would miss was the arm massage, which I think is also a lie, because I doubt we would have an arm massage for a half-hour.
So we just left, we both have a gift card there, and that will probably be the last time we'll be going there.
cottage retreat dump!! – It's very dirty the garbages looked like they hadnt been taken out in weeks. The Bathroom was discusting! Id like my RETREAT to be clean! The Girl that did my facial was very professional, and nice. I told her i liked her but she needed to get a job at another spa. I also got my hair cut, but hated it! the hair stylist was very nice..but had no clue what she was doing! Management needs a wake up call!!!!!
Best Day Spa in Utah! – The atmosphere of this day spa was so warm and inviting! I went in and got a deep tissue massage and a facial! I've had many massages at various locations, and it was the best massage I've ever had. I also was very concerned about my dryness and aging skin and the skin girl addressed my concerns. My face felt amazing after. She also reccomended products for me to help with my aging skin and I love the products. The staff was super friendly and efficient. I'm already looking forward to my next review!
Bad Customer Service – I have been going to this spa for several years and have always loved it. However, at my last visit I discovered that they made a mistake with my account. I was made to feel embarrassed by their mistake and when I called to speak to the owner I was given no apology for my experience. In fact the owner hung up on me. In this economy who would waste money at a spa that doesn't treat its customers well?
Not a day spa atmosphere – I have been to many day spas and have had approximately 30-40 massages. This ranked in my top 5 worst. I was excited to try this "retreat". What a great idea, a cute cottage in the middle of Gardner Village where you can relax and do some shopping. With 5 or 6 giggling girls behind the front counter, this had more of a beauty parlor feel than day spa. The massage itself was horrible, the therapist applied absolutely no pressure at all. I left feeling more irritated than relaxed.
