Their New Location is Great! – I just had my first expierence at the new Fairmont Hotel location and I am very pleased! The amenities are a huge improvement from the Corona Del Mar location. My friends and I were a little weary of the parking and going up to the third floor...we thought it would be inconvienent but it really wasn't! They have made it very accomodating! The parking is free and the amenities are fantastic! From the fresh baked cookies to the steam room and beautiful rest area. If you are weary... give it a try! You will not be disappointed! I was so happy! I felt so pampered. It was really like a mini vacation. I had a massage and it was the best I have ever had. I highly reccommend Jessie. She is fantastic!
Absolutely AMAZING! – I had the most enjoyable experience at Amadeus Spa & Salon then at any other of the highly recommended spas in the surrounding Newport Beach area. I enjoyed a full spa day including a massage, facial, and a manicure & pedicure. All of my therapists were extremely prompt and attentive they all were very experienced and talented in their fields and non of them talked my ear off to the point of no relaxation! I would definitely recommend this spa to anyone as i had a majority of their services. However, my favorite part was the atmosphere that was created i felt like a priority and it gave me the full spa day experience. The best part was it was completely spur of the moment for me to decide on my fabulous spa day. The receptionist, Alex, was not only sweet and absolutely beautiful but incredibly helpful and accomadating of my split second decision. I recommend this spa as five stars! They offer everything a spa should have.
DO NOT GO TO AMADEUS SPAS – We received a gift certificate for the holidays, prepared daycare for our infant and cleared our work schedule so that we could enjoy a day at the spa. Upon arrival, we were given very old and worn out robes that were too small and did not fit. The lights did not work properly in the men?s locker room, the steam shower was out of order in both women and men?s room and there were no keys for the lockers to put our things in. When we finally prepared to go into the rest area to meet our massage therapist, the water that was provided on the refreshment table was stale tasting, the water in the thermos was ice cold so we could not even pour ourselves a cup of tea. The area was a complete mess with old cups and napkins all over the table. Our massage therapists finally greeted us. We hoped that a deep tissue massage would make up for the awful ambience. The therapist talked the entire time about how this Amadeus Spa location was closing in a few weeks and relocating to the Fairmont Hotel. And that business was slow because of the economy, and how she did not want to be a massage therapist anymore because she was tired and broke. She went on to talk about how the company does not pay the therapists enough money. This is only the highlights of what she discussed during the grueling hour long massage. This entire day was the most awful experience we have ever had at a spa. We are well-established physicians in the community, and refer our patients, friends, and family to spa retreats and massage therapists on a daily basis. We are so disappointed with the service that was given at this spa.
It was much better before... – I was extremely pleased with the manicure and pedicure services at Amadeus, until recently when I found out that Amadeus was closing its store and relocating to another location. Since that time, I noticed that the hand cremes, any products used are not replenished and therefore, I feel like I am spending money on "left over" products. I've been disappointed in recent visits given that Amadeus personnel still offers great service but the products are not up to par.
Amazing Customer Service – I have to say that the customer service at this spa is top notch. They really are so friendly and willing and wanting to go out of their way for you. I have been to many spas and not one has welcomed me more than this one. The services were great also. I had originally gone in just to buy products and the manager offered me a massage and gave me a discount to give them a try and it really was wonderful. One of the best I have ever had. If you are thinking about going here I can say you will be happy and won't be dissappointed. I will be back.
Best for Hair Extensions, Color and Cuts! – Kellie at Amadeus is wonderful. I see her often for my color, cuts and hair extensions. Pople do not believe me when I tell them that I have Hair extensions! They are that natural! I have very thin hair and Kellie makes it look as full as Bridget Bardoe! I absolutely love her and the staff there is so sweet. If you are looking for a great hair stylist call them. You will be happy you did!
Wonderful Facials – I had a facial at Amadeus recently and it was probably the best facial or at least top 3 facials I have ever had in my life! My friends and I travel ever year to a different spa and experience different treatments. This year we decided to try Amadeus because they called in more therapists to take care of all of us at the same time past years they didn't so we were never able to all fit in. But I have to say my esthetician was wonderful. She was so knowledgeable and answered all of my questions in detail. I upgraded to Phytomer products and it was well worth the extra dollars! My skin felt amazing after! Try their facials! You will Love it!
Best Hair Salon in Town – I had been going to the same hair dresser for years. It was really hard to make a change but as bad as I felt I decided to give another salon a try after not being happy with the last few attempts my old hair dresser had had. Older hair stylists are overrated! They tell you what you want instead of giving you what you want! Amadeus had a free haircut with color special, and I felt like it was the perfect opportunity with not much at stake! I had the most wonderful experience. The girls there were so welcoming. I had a "spa experience" in a hair salon! Hot tea and cookies and a haircut! The color turned out beautifully! I could not have asked for more! I am sticking with Amadeus from now on! My husband finally noticed my hair! Yes!
Surprisingly Fabulous – So I have not had any facials or massages in a long time and decided it was time to get back on track. Quite honestly, this spa was not my 1 st choice but the other place was booked so I took a chance here.
I was very skeptical because I've heard mixed opinions of this place.
I'm so glad I went!! What a great facial I had! The skin care therapist really knew her stuff. She taught me a few tricks to do for my skin to do at home. She did a great job and the facial was clinical but relaxing with lots of massaging and everything. Her name was Jennifer I think. I also had a massage and was amazed at how beneficial her techniques were. The massage therapist was named Brandee. Oh an the girls at reception were totally down to earth. They really pamper you here and dont act all snobby like a lot of other spas can do.
I totally recommend coming here and I made sure to book an appointment for next month!
BEST MASSAGE I HAVE EVER HAD! – I had my first visit to Amadeus yesterday. I was referred to them by a friend from work. She had just raved about them. I had a 90 minute much needed massage. It was amazing! I could barely drive home after because I was so relaxed! I had the best sleep of my life that night! Amazing! If you are looking for a great massage go to Amadeus...you will not be dissappointed!
