What happened to the Admiral Theatre? Avoid the Admiral, it's changed for the worse.
Front booth entry workers are running a scam. Front booth workers are trying to shake down guests for extra money.
Arrived at the Admiral two weeks ago for College Night. The front door is trying to run a scam. The advertised online deal is guy's show their College ID and get in for half off. Upon arrival, the girl at the booth automatically got the attention of another woman in the booth when we showed our College ID's. This second woman came over and asked us, "how did you get here?". We told her we had take a taxi to arrive, and then she went into a story claiming that the Admiral owner had a "new" policy that was only a few weeks old and made people pay full entry no matter what's the night's special deal was if you took a taxi to arrive at the Admiral.
I was dumbfounded and shocked. This made absolutely no sense. The mere fact that a customer took a taxi to a location shows that it was made a destination, and should give more reason to give the patrons the discount. I then told the woman in the booth that this policy was not on their website. She rudely snapped back at me that "she felt dumb for having to reexplain the policy to me and that the policy was so "new" that it was not online yet". She continued by explain, "the owner does like people to take taxi's to come to the Admiral". I then pressed, how do they want people to come to the Admiral?!!! I asked if I would have walked to the Admiral if I could have had the College Night half price deal. The booth woman said yes, if I would have walked. I then asked her, why don't I leave, go eat a meal, go get a drink and come back in an hour or so by walking, then I would not have driven or taken a taxi to get here.
The woman's shake down scheme then began to fail, as she then spewed into a speech that illogically fell apart. Her: "well what would happen to your taxi". Me:"I would not take a taxi to get here, I would walk". Her: "But then the taxi's wouldn't benefit, you can't not take a taxi, we like the taxi's". Me: "You just got done explaining that you didn't want people to take taxi's here" Her: "I won't listen to this, you have to pay the full amount, it's policy" Me: "No I don't, show me this in writing, or I'm leaving" Her:"I don't need to explain anything". Me: "Fine, I'm leaving, I'll go to VIP's". Her: "Don't you think you can come back in an hour". Me: "Nope, I'm never coming back".
After talking with other friends, it turns out this is a regular scheme that Admiral's has been trying to pull off in order to make money from the admission price. If a patron says they took a taxi, they tell them they won't do the deal for people who took a taxi. If you tell them you walked, they'll claim that they only do the deal for people who took a taxi. Overall if find this business practice is scum, and not how the Admiral used to be. Going to a strip club you know your going to come out a lot lighter in the wallet then you planned to, but the shaken down should not start at the door.
To everyone thinking about going to a Chicago strip club, forget the Admiral Theatre, instead go to VIP's, they'll treat you right. To all the girls working at the Admiral and to girls considering to work for the Admiral, leave this business for a better strip club before all the good customers stop coming and find other girls at another establishment like VIP's.
Great Club!! – Great club. Good atmosphere. The girls are pretty and friendly.
Beautiful women, great value – This gentle-men's club on the Northwest Side is a great place to unwind and be entertained by plenty of gorgeous women. Add your email addr at the club's website to receive occasional door passes. Also you can reserve online: $25 includes soft drinks and VIP seating. Street parking is generally restricted except for Lawrence Avenue; valet is available. Dances in the crowded front area are only $10; double that for the more upscale mezzanine level. (Tip the maitre d' to sit there.) The drink waitresses (no alcohol) are pretty and friendly. The dancers are a lot of fun. The club is very crowded on Saturday nights, which may mean a long wait for your favorite dancer unless you sit upstairs. Enjoy!
GET YOUR ID HERE!!!!!! – Hey, I can make you a FLAWLESS I.D. that WILL PASS SCAN TESTS, UV tests, with hologram. Get into all the bars, clubs, etc...

Cars Getting TOWED Admiral Theater – Yesterday September 18, 2010. Was my first time going to Admiral Theater. And there is a parking lot across the street with no sighns of towing or anything at at first you think your safe they will get you so let me tell you the hole story.
After i had a nice time at the club i was walking to my car and then i realized that my car was gone so i went to call the police and my friend left his phone in the car, and so we used somone elses phone called three times and the cops didnt show up. And the club said it probably got towed and they had the adress and the number of this place. Kinda fishy right and So i was f****d and i had no money for a taxi so i had to walk about three miles in the hood. And it took me two hours to get to this place. The minute i got to the towing place i saw my car in the lot and so i started to walk to my car and then a little black guy 5 11 walked up to me and sad ' WO WO WO WHAT THE F***K DO YOU THINK YOU DOING" and said im going to my fuking car and then i was about to fight the dude and all of sudden his friend came out and pushed me. So then i was pissed went in the shop to pay for my car and i had to pay 170$ and which i didnt have. Later many people where showing up to pick up there cars and i asked all of them where they parked and they sad they went to the club and parked across the street in the lot. So alot of people are getting fuked and i think the club and this towing place work together to get your money so be carefull out there.
Admiral Theatre – I was at Admiral theatre three years ago for Jesse Jane, which was the last time she came to town. She was so hot! I got tickets on the website which is cheaper than buying them at the club.
When we got to the club all the girls were so pretty but the best was Jesse Jane and she is coming back on April 6th! I cant wait!
Ladies love Bree Olson & Tera Patrick! – This place is incredible! I am not really intro strippers but I love porn stars and this club has special guest features who appear on certain days. I love how they bring in big international porn stars and have them perform and sign autographs! I just saw Tera Patrick & Bree Olson and I'm going back next month for Jesse Jane! Discount tickets on their website too!
Great club - Chicks Were Hot! – I love this place. I had no trouble parking when I went there and I didn't use the valet. Drinks were $6, kinda pricey. Dances are only $10!!! Really cheap, really good! Gorgeous women.
Well worth the price. Check their website for deals and stuff.
Chicago's top gentlemens club – I was just in Chicago on business and the only thing I did while I was there was visit this place. Really had a blast. Parking sucked.
Nice club – Pretty good club! Its up on the northside in the middle of the Muslim neighborhood so there's not a lot of places similar to this in the area [kind of a weird location for it, but an all around safe neighborhood so no big deal]
I didn't wanna use the valet so I parked on the street - street parking wasnt bad. I mean it was not a long walk considering the club was pretty full on a Friday night.
I agree that the no alcohol thing was disappointing, but it turned out the bar directly next door to the club was really cheap and they let us in and out all night so that was good.
I didnt buy any dances but I still liked it. What's the point of buying dances? I dont fully understand that. Its like going to see a movie and paying to watch another movie privately in a tiny room alone? Confusing.
