Tips for Cafa Minnehaha
Good lunch, Great meeting place. The sales team from my company scheduled an off site meeting at CAFA Minnehaha. I went early and had half a sandwich and soup. The white Chicken Chili was good but best of all it was hot (outside temp today was below zero). We had a great meeting and intend to return for more. This is a good local place to meet, have coffee and get a nice lunch.

To the regular whom my family gathering inconvenienced on October 5th--I apologize, and I am horrified that this resulted in a negative review for Minnehaha Coffee. They were kind enough to host us after my father's funeral at Fort Snelling, and we made the decision not to outright close the place so as not to disappoint those counting on late lunch or afternoon coffee. More folks than I expected decided to join us, and the available space dwindled. I'm certain that any request that you relocate was a result of worry that the unruly toddlers would stuff your shirt neck full of pastry (which they did to someone else) or that the otherwise somber purpose of the gathering might clash with your peaceful grading. Please continue to patronize this worthy local business.
Rude and unpleasant management.
I used to enjoy Minnehaha cafe but on my visit today I was rudely told to leave because a large group came in and I was taking up a table for just myself. I would have been more understanding if the manager/owner had been pleasant about it. But he was rude and made a very telling remark about "people who come in to order drinks and take up his tables during lunch." I was at the cafe grading papers and had ordered multiple drinks while I was there.
I would recommend avoiding Minnehaha Cafe because the management is rude and unprofessional. Don't let the tables and chairs fool you. They are not for you.
