My fiancee and I started our engagement ring search at Continental Diamond, and after checking the other jewelry stores around town we knew that Continental was the place for us.
We worked with Kayla at Continental. Kayla was patient, helpful, and made the whole experience much easier than expected. Kayla was able to keep me within my budget and my fiancee absolutely loves her ring.

Update: 11/6/12 - FAN FOR LIFE As you can see below, I was very disappointed with my experience at Continental Diamond. However, the saleswoman read my review and called to make amends. She didn't make excuses but rather was genuinely concerned about my experience. In life, we all make mistakes - I've made my share. Owning up to them and asking those wronged to forgive is a mark of great maturity and character. I've gone from not considering Continental for any future purchases to being a fan for life. Any place that has employees who genuinely care about their customers is a place that I want to frequent. Kudos to Continental for not only having employees that read their customers' reviews but having folks who take pride in their work and who are willing to make things right. I am a CHAMPION of Continental Diamonds now because repairing a mistake is worth way more to me than the cost of the mistake itself.
Very disappointing experience. For months, I have been planning to surprise my wife on the anniversary of my proposal. Wanted to upgrade her diamond in her ring. Had heard great things about Continental from a friend. The saleswoman I worked with did a wonderful job of helping me identify a stone. We discussed whether I should present the loose diamond or use a presentation ring. We agreed to the presentation ring and I made plans accordingly to surprise my wife at dinner. But when I went to pick up the ring, she had not found time to have had the diamond placed in a presentation ring! She said "it's been a busy week". Really?! Now the reason this is FRUSTRATING to me is that I worked with the restaurant to have a message written on the linen just like I did ten years ago when I proposed. The message on the original linen (which she still has!) said will you marry me and then said please choose one: yes or no. At the bottom of the linen was a hint that read the one I want you to choose already has a circle around it. So when she read the message that night, I got on one knee and put the ring around "yes". So for the ten year anniversary, I planned to do the same thing. Only tonight there is no ring now....just a box with the diamond inside. Anyway, my wife will still love it but just ruins all of the plans I made. Will not be purchasing from here again unfortunately. Devil is always in the details.
I recently purchased a gorgeous rose gold diamond engagement ring from Continental Diamond. My fiance loves her ring and she cannot stop showing it off. The salesman, Spencer was great to work with. He and his team helped me find the perfect ring. Not once did I feel pressure to buy anything from anyone in the store, which made purchasing the ring from them an easy decision. I will be recommending that my friends contact Spencer and the staff at Continental Diamond. I look forward to going back for our wedding bands in the coming months.
Continental Diamond makes you feel like you are the only customer they are working with. Kayla was a delight to work with, she is knowledgeable and answered all of the questions that we had. My ring is absolutely stunning, I couldn't have asked for a better purchasing experience thanks to everyone at Continental!
I went to Continental Diamond after a friend recommended them and I couldn't be happier. Kayla was great. She was very helpful and spent a lot of time talking about what my girlfriend would like and what my price range was.
I checked out many of their competitors and CD was much more open and accomodating than the others.
My fiance really loves her ring and we'll be going back to CD to get our wedding rings. Check out the other places to see the difference but Continental Diamond is the best.
Great Service - Fabulous Ring! – My husband wanted to buy my a diamond anniversary band for our 10 year anniversary. Many of our friend suggested we go to Continental Diamond. We are so glad we did! Kayla was a dream to work with. We really had no idea what we were looking for and she was so helpful. Never once felt pressure to buy and she was very knowledgable about diamond quality, metal quality, etc. It took about a month for me to decide what I wanted and I'm so happy with my new ring. It's absolutely beautiful! We will be back for all of our future jewelry purchases!
Like buying it from your mom.... – Working with Helain at Continental pretty much took 100% of the anxiety out of what was a very large purchase for me. I went to Continental to purchase an engagement ring. Helain took the time to educate me on my purchase. She also personally selected a variety of rings to help me choose, and helped me pick a real stunner.
I stated what my budget was, and left confident that my budget went as far as it could possibly go. No sales pitch, attempt to up-sell, or other issues. They took great care of me, and I have a very happy bride-to-be.
Like the headline, it's like buying from your mom. You'll be well taken care of too.
Working on it... – After contacted a manager about my issues with my treatment and their level of service coupled with issues concerning my ring, the management and I are working on mending the situation. Hopefully I can change this review to 5 star once everything is worked out.

Customer Service..best in the business. Jane and Jim worked with me to find a new wedding ring after I lost mine on a trip. They stayed within my budget and I came out with an even nicer ring. Jane helped speed up the process of setting my new diamond because I was leaving for vacation. My new diamond is so beautiful that a young gentleman from florida asked me where I bought my jewelry. I referred him to Jane and he bought some diamond earrings for his girlfriend! The story speaks for itself... Quality, personal care, friendly environment and great customer service. Go see them!
Customer for life – I recently needed to get my watch band repaired and I went to a couple of places before finally making it to Continental Diamond. The first place I went to held the watch for a couple of days then said they could not fix it. The second place I went to told me I would need to replace the entire band at a cost of $1,500. Then I went to continental diamond and was told I might need to replace the band, but they wanted to see if they could fix it first. By the way, their estimate on the band was $500.
A short while after looking at the watch, Jim Goldfarb stated that he could simply fix the band. Not only that, he said there would be no charge for fixing the band. Jim has made a customer for life with that move! The honesty and professionalism he exhibited was astonishing. I can only offer great praise and highly recommend Continental Diamond. For someone to be honest and simply fix something instead of trying to up charge or try to sell a person something else is way too common these days. Again, Jim, Continental Diamond, you have a customer for life.
