I just wrote this on yahoo reviews and went to write it on the google maps reivews, but it looks like google reviews come from here and yahoo? Anyway, just signed up to say:
If you need old school games, go here!
I've been collecting Original Nintendo (NES) games for over 8 years now, and the CGX in Frisco at the mall has the most NES games I have seen in the same place, ever. They have helped me fill in a lot of holes in my collection and now I am down to my last 42 of the 768 games. And what is even cooler is that the guys there really seem to want to help me finish the collection after seeing me there so much and finding out what I was doing. One of the workers actually contacted all the other CGX stores to try and locate some on my list, and just today I got to check one off that just arrived from a trade in at another store. He is having it sent to the Frisco store for me at no additional charge. 5 star service guys! Thanks.
P.S. Looking at the other reviews (on yahoo), it seems like people either love or hate this place? I've never had any problems with the Frisco store by my house, but I have been to some of the other locations just to check them out, and some workers did seem a bit standoffish, like I was interrupting their "do nothing" time when I was asking for game prices, but that was like a year ago, so hopefully things have gotten better. I guess it just all depends on who you get helping you out.
BEWARE OF THIS STORE! – I purchased a Wii Fit at this store and at the time of purchase I asked if I could return it. The girl assured me I could with a $3 restocking fee. When I found out that the $150 I paid for it was much more than the normal retail price of $90, I attempted to return the unopened item. I was told that there were no cash refunds and could only exchange it for store credit. The manager was very rude and would not honor what his employee had told me. This store has the worst customer service that I have ever experienced and would recommend that potential customers go ANYWHERE except here for your video game purchases.
