They are straight scam artist. If you can please avoid buying a car from them at all cost. The financing process, the unending problems with their cars are not worth it. Bought a car and had for about three months and after their bogus warranties, and costly out of pocket repairs the claimed they would rewrite the warranty. On the way to have them do that the engine caught fire. Worst place ever to buy a car. the customer experience, and how they make you pay taxes up front separately from the down payment on the car and they never really give you the price on the car the whole through the process. All the cars are lemons hands down.....

I emailed Pittsburgh Auto Depot to tell them that after no responce from them for over 2 months from sending in my credit applacation, that I would be trying a different dealer. My email was this exactly...

"Hi Ryan,

I just wanted to let you know that I think I am going to go with JD Byrider. I think that if I'm not important enough for you to sell me a car, then I can only imagine what the service is like. The Better Business Bureau has even given you an "F" rating and I can't seem to find any good reviews for your business, so with too many red flags and lack of attention, I'll be taking my money and buying a car at a different dealer.

They call thereselves a car dealer!! This place is a joke. I bought a Jeep from them and 2 weeks after I got it I had to take it back because it stopped running. When i called to tell them they made it seem like I did something wrong. I'm 48 years old and I didn't beat the heck out of the thing like they said I did. They told me that the driveshaft went out and it was going to cost me $800 to get fixed. I only had it for like 2 weeks. i see other people have had simiar problems with this place and you would never think it when you first go there that they would treat you so bad. It was like as soon as they got my money they were done with me and didn't care if I had any problems. I will never go back here.

I just want to cry!!! I thought I was doing the right thing by sending my daughter here to get a car. I liked that they have a bunch to choose from and they looked to be nice cars. I gave my daughter $3000.00 to put down on a car and told her to get something nice and if she needed me to sign on the loan I would. Guess what I had to sign. I was fine with that and we got a good rate because my credit score is 745 because I pay my bills. Well she had the car 2 days and the check engine light came on. She took the car back to have them look at it and they said it was a o2 sensor and put one in. 2 days later the oil light came on. I had her take it to my mechanic to look at it and he said that the engine had stuff put in it just to keep it long enough to sell it. Keep in mind I have known this mechanic for 15 years and he does all my familys auto car like brakes oil changes and even helped my husband restore his old Corvette. Anyways we took the car back to tell them that the engine was bad and we paid for the tow. They told us that the car ran great when we took it and that it is a used car so it is our responsibility. We tried calling the warranty company and they said that they wouldn't help us because we only had the car a short time. I ended up having to take out a small loan for $2000 to get a new engine put in. My daughter even called them crying and they didn't even care. I called them and they told me I should of drove the car myself before letting her buy it. I'm not rich but I have good credit and if I would of let them take the car back it would of destroyed my credit. I guess I just had to let everyone know about my daughter and me car buying experience with Pittsburgh Auto Depot. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THESES CROOKS AGAIN... NEVER NEVER NEVER!!! AGAIN NEVER!!!!

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE! no matter how desperate you are, don't do it! I am near tears laughing at all the good reviews on here that are OBVIOUSLY written by the pig losers that work at the place, or the owner. But anyways, unless you want a car that is literally falling apart... LITERALLY, go somewhere else. I don't know how these people are still in business but I don't want anyone else to make the same mistake as me. Check out the better business bureau website for a little taste of what these criminals are about. The car we bought is completely wired wrong and is completely falling apart. It's our fault for trusting these shady people but now I want to warn people DO NOT GO HERE!!! I pray this place gets shut down asap.

You guys have competitive prices and what makes it even better is that you were willing to work out the financing part with me. I'm glad I was stopped in and gave you guys a shot! Anyone else in Pittsburgh should at least go check them out, I'm positive you'll find something you'd like.

BE VERY CAREFUL if you go here. I almost bought a car off of these place but I brought it to me friends garage for him to look at and i'm glad I did cause it needed a bunch of work one and the under neath was rusted out on the frame. My garage friend said he didnt no how it would of pass inspection. Funny thing was there was a new sticker for inspection on it. I dont no how they have good comments on this sight for new reviews. I did notice that old comments was all bad ones. There are better places out here to get a good car. Heck I got mine with no checks on my credit. Look around at other places first before you buy here.

Lets just say that I wouldn't send my worst enemy there to buy a car. After I got my car here I took it to work to show my buddy and he ask me where i got it. I told him i got it at Pittsburgh Auto Depot. I thought he was going to crap himself. I guess his neighbor works there as a mechanis and he told me that they make the cars just good enough to get them off the lot. I figured maybe I got a good one. I was wrong. The second day I drove my car the check engine light came on and when I took it to Advance tehy told me it was a cat. This is a $600.00 fix. I called Pittsburgh Auto Depot and they said to call the warranty company. Of course the warranty company wouldn't pay for it. I paid for it and got the car back and the next day my brakes were not stoping my car. Again I called them and they said they couldn't help me because the warranty they gave me wouldn't pay for anything. Like I said I have had the car only a about a week and a half and they didn't help me at all with the cat and brakes. I guess my buddy was right. He also told me his neighbor told him that they pay someone to write good reviews on here and you can tell if you look at all the older reviews. They are all bad. Don't waste your time at this place.
