Great Balance of art and customer focus – Jeanine took on the challenge to fix a tattoo I got from two lazy tattoo artists, one in PDX the other in Longview, WA.
Most artists out there are just too lazy to do more than copying a picture (badly) to your skin, others have egos the size of Mt Hood and are too good to tattoo anyone unless you worship them, beg them and pay an arm and a leg. Lady Luck was reasonable, honest, talented, and customer focused.
Wonderful Experience – Just got some work done by Jason. What a great guy and artist. He treated me with great respect. Gave me the exact tattoo that I wanted . I have to say that I had gone to several shops around town and was treated very badly. But These guys @ Lady Luck are the best. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the shop.
Thank you Jason you are the best......
Lady Luck is my tattoo shop for life – Im friend's with LL on facebook and read about their Peek a Boo Special, I went in Monday night and got one done. It is one of the best tattoo's ever that I have,! Jea'nine did an awsome job and I will be going back to get more work in the near future. I will not be going to any other tattoo shop's in Portland, Lady Luck Rocks !!!
Marcii's Tattoo's! – I just got the outline of my first tattoo done last night by Marcii, I do have to say we talked about my tattoo for a while and finally sat down and worked it out. I love it so much. The shop is so nice and a great crew working there. The atmosphere around the shop is so much fun. There is always some joke going around the store and everyone is having a blast. I am looking forward to going back to get finish up my tattoo. Brooklynn is a great counter person very helpful and goes over everything with you and makes sure you understand all the paperwork and the after care instructions.
I Found Dymond! :D – I've been getting tattooed by Dymond for YEARS now, and I can honestly say he's my favorite artist. I went to Lady Luck a few weeks ago to see about getting a new peice drawn up from him. When I asked if he was there they looked a little annoyed with me and hastily told me he "just left and have no clue where he is." I was totally bummed! I asked a friend of mine who also gets her work done from him, and learned that Dymond has started his own shop "Timeless Tattoo" - I went and saw him last week and his shop is gorgeous! So much cleaner and much more comforting then Lady Luck. It's also just 7 blocks away! So happy I found him! If anyone's looking for him his new number is 503-234-8282, and the address is 1218 SE 7th Ave, I highly reccomend you call him (:
Lady Luck IS the best! – Marcii did my first tattoo almost 20 years ago. She is an awesome artist and a great person. I have been going in every 2 - 3 weeks this summer to get some work done. I see firsthand how helpful, friendly, and professional everyone is. I see the quality of work done and I am impressed with the level of skill and artistry at Lady Luck. My sister now gets her work done by Marcii and she couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend Lady Luck.
Love lady luck – I came to portland from Klamath falls on vacation this week and decided to get a tattoo. A few people recommended lady luck tattoo so I decided to check them out. The staff there is so friendly and super helpful. Marcii really put me at ease. The butterfly she put on my shoulder is beautiful and I'm so impressed with the work. With all of the tattoo shops u can choose lady luck is by far the best!!! Not only does marcii love what she does, she has years of experience and does absolutely fantastic work. I couldn't be happier with my decision. Marcii even gave me a ride back to my hotel when we were done. She's awesome!!! Seriously check em out. You wont be disappointed
The best of Lady Luck has left. – Dymond and Brynn have left lady luck and opened their own shop. Why? They were tired of being treated like crap and being taken advantage of. What will lady luck do with out their bread n butter......resort to venemous attacks on Facebook. People's true colors will always shine through. Dymond and Brynn built the reputation lady luck has. Their departure was not with appreciation for the time they invested or wishes of good luck. Their new shop is beautiful. Comfy lounge with leather couches, OFF STREET PARKING, and a welcoming staff. The staff truly enjoys working with eachother. Can't say that about lady luck. Check it out: Timeless Tattoo 1218 SE 7th Ave. Just a few blocks from lady luck. Phone is 503-234-TAT2 (8282). They're on facebook and you can see pics of the shop. It was time for a new shop to move in and this one's gonna rock it like no other.
BEST SHOP EVER! – my whole family and many of my friends have been going to marcii at lady luck for many years now. we've never once been disappointed in the work or service we've received there. as a matter of fact i just got another tattoo from marcii just last night and i thought it's about time i write a review! lol i happened to read the review titled "not so lucky anymore". and i have to say it's a shame that people who aren't even involved with the behind the scene's business at lady luck feel the need to throw daggers when they have no idea what they're talking about.. especially when it sounds like they were a long time client. so what i can say is if you're looking for a great place to get tattooed look no further. read all the reviews and decide for yourself. ignore the slander of people trying to start drama. this isn't "LA INK". this is real life.
i will forever be a loyal client of lady luck!
Not so lucky anymore – I've been getting tattooed at LL for a few years now, I got my latest tattoo a couple weeks ago, and Brynn mentioned afterwards that she was opening her own shop, Timeless Tattoo in a matter of weeks. I've gotten tattooed by Marcii, Brynn and dymond and was really happy for her and dymond, but I still liked Lady Luck too.
Just recently I saw on the LL facebook page the owner was writing really unprofessional stuff, pretty much lying, and it just made me sad. That's not how a business should act...So, I'm following Brynn to her new studio, I don't want to be around all the negativity it seems like they left behind at Lady Luck.
