DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE.....Took my dog in to have her bathed and shaved, i told them she DIDNT need her nails done because i just left the vets office and they did them there, she said no problem. before leaving i asked how long would it be before she would be ready, was told 3 hours, well 4 and a half hours later i called to find out if she was done. they said almost. so i go to pick her up and got her to the car and she was acting funny well i noticed her paw was bleeding. went back inside to ask why she was bleeding a kid, yes there are kids running the place, asked me where and when i said her paw she called for Tammy (the owner). she came out with a puzzled look her face and said oh that must have been where i clipped her duke claw. i simply looked at her and said i told you she didn't need her nails done. well she came out to my car to clean her paw and while i was helping hold her i was being covered in hair as if she was just shave right before i got there. i thought you shave a dog you bathe them after to get all the lose hair off. well i will say this i was not happy with the service and for them to charge me more than i have ever paid for grooming service anywhere else I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK. this place need to be shut down!!

THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST GROOMER IN THE UNIVERSE!!!! For starters the smell is that close to DEATH. I figured it was from the puppies up front but when I picked up my dog I realized the funk was EVERYWHERE!!! They "claimed" to have bathed, trimmed my dogs nails and cleaned his ears all in 10 mins tops! When I returned he was still wet and at that time they informed me that I needed to pay cash or check and if paying by check to simply leave the "pay to" section blank...REALLY?! This place is a total rip off with a bunch of kids in charge. Don't waste your time or put your dog through the anxiety.

HORRIBLE. Avoid at all costs. I bought a puppy from there that was $800 dollars. He apparently had Parvovirus when I bought him, 3 days later and $900.00 in vet bills later he died. The owner, Tammy Beavers, told me that she would refund the price of the dog (as is required by law if the dog dies within so many days), and that I was "her customer, and she's on my side." She now refuses to return my phone calls or emails, and has not returned my money. She claimed that she "hand-picks" all of her puppies from breeders she regularly works with, but then when asked specifics about this puppy's breeder, she admitted she had never worked with her before, and couldn't get in contact with her. Very suspicious. I'm now awaiting a court date with her. Save yourself trouble, and do not support a pet shop that doesn't have the best interest of the animals involved in mind

Please do not give these people your business – The woman claims she opened her store because she loves puppies. However, no responsible breeder would EVER sell their puppies to a puppy store. The only "breeders" that sell to a store like this are backyard breeders and PUPPY MILLS! If you think you know what you are doing and must buy from her, request paperwork about where the pup came from, visit the parents, etc. If she refuses, you know you aren't dealing with an honest facility. Don't you want to know that your pet is going to be healthy, and that your purchase is not perpetuating the abusive practice of puppy mills?

PLEASE PLEASE consider getting your dog from a rescue instead of from a greedy pet store with low standards for the care of the animals like this. There are so many PURE-BRED dogs just waiting for you to SAVE their lives. If you must get a breeder puppy, buy directly from the breeder so you KNOW what their practices are like.

Bottom line: DO NOT SHOP HERE

Do NOT Board your Dog Here! – I am from out of town and needed a place to board my dog as I was staying at a hotel that was not dog friendly. From the website, I thought this place looked nice. As I followed the directions, I realized the business was in to a strip mall. I immediately thought, where are they going to run the dogs (as my boarder in Tampa has a big lot in which to do so). Walking into the store only made me feel worse. It smelled terrible. I breathed through my mouth for the duration of time I spent in the sotre. There were puppies in plastic bins everywhere. It reminded me of a puppy mill. The dogs were barking so loud, I could barely hear myself speak. If I had had any other option, I NEVER would have left my dog there. The person working the desk informed me they leave at 7pm and do not return until 10am the next day. This is unacceptable to me. Making a dog go over 15 hours without peeing outside? A major reason I board my dog is when I know I will be unable to let him for long periods of time. I find it inhumane to make a dog cross their legs for more than 10 or so hours. The facility informed me that I could not pick my dog up until noon, given the circumstances, I made sure to be there shorlty after 12, I could tell from how long he peed he had not been let outside in hours. My dog smelled when I picked him up and he had just been bathed at my groomers in Tampa less than a week ago.

This is the FIRST time I have ever written a reivew about a business on line. However, I very strongly about making sure no one else ever boards their dog at pampered paws and that no one buys a puppy from them as well.

DO NOT get your dog groomed at Pampered Paws! I took our dog there to get groomed (washed, hair cut, nail trim) and was horrified with the results. He was shaved down to the skin in some spots and not even trimmed in others. Between the uneven cut and the fact that none of his coat was blended he pretty much looked like they took a lawn mower to him. As for the nail trim, some of his nails weren't even cut and the ones that they did cut were jagged with pieces hanging off. Worst of all my dog who loves to go places and see people was shaking like a leaf when they gave him back to me and whimpering like I had never heard before. When I asked to speak to the someone in charge (the groomer was gone and everyone there said they weren't there when the dog was groomed) the lady behind the counter gave me a telephone to speak to a woman named Tammy who then proceeded to be rude to me and even laughed as I told her how upset I was about the way the dog looked and about the fact that they may well have hurt him by shaving him that way. They did not make me pay for the service, but that does not make what they did to the dog or how blatantly rude they were right. If you want your dog to be groomed properly, go somewhere anywhere else other than Pampered Paws.

Save Your Dog(s)!!! – As I look for a NEW groomer I am reminded of the WORSE grooming experience my dog and I have ever had! This review may come a little later, but pet owners beware and actually read the reviews!

After being so excited to pick my dog up from his first grooming experience I was traumatized. He is a toy poodle and I did specify to have his paws trimmed short and him to be given a poodle cut.

When I picked him up his feet were BLEEDING, from being cut TOO short. He was scared and I was #&^%@# that I even had to pay for such a crappy job. To top it off we get home and I noticed he had a FLEA on him. Mind you, he is up to date on his vaccinations and preventative medicine so that was quite shocking. Lastly, his ears were not fully cleaned to where I even had to go back and clean them again.

These are just the TOP 3 reasons why you SHOULD NOT bring your dog to this establishment!
