Feel Like a VIP – I really love this salon. It's so elegant inside and well maintained. You really feel special right when you walk in the door, like you're entering an exclusive club. Lol. I know that sounds a bit cheesy, but it's really that nice.
I always have my hair done by Lisa Alemañy when I come in. She always does a wonderful job with both the cut and coloring. We've done several different styles and colors over the years and all have given me many compliments. I never really tell her what to do. All I say is "have fun" and let her show her artistic talent of hair through my locks. I'm always ecstatic with the results.
Being in the mall the salon is really easy to get to with plenty of parking unless during christmas shopping time. The salon is on the smaller side compared to some places I've seen, but it doesn't retract from the experience. If anything the size gives it an intimate feel. And don't think they are lacking space because of their size. There's really plenty of room to move around and you're not elbow to elbow. I was able to get my huge baby stroller in there for my last appointment without bothering the other clients or the staff.
I'm not sure if they allow walk-ins or not since I always book my appointment in advanced. The bathroom is spacious and beautiful with modern fixtures. And yes, it's wheel chair accessible being on the first and only floor of the mall.
I love it. Everyone is friendly and so professional.
I know they do other services there too, but I haven't had a chance to try them out yet. Maybe next visit.
Very nice...didn't know how to handle my hair – The girls were very sweet and friendly. However, my hair is very curly and long. I am very particular about my cut and style because it grows so slowly and is so hard to manage. I wanted a specific hair cut ( long tapered layers) and a bl0wout (which I know is possible as I have had it done at other salons up north before). The cut was about 50% accurate to what I wanted and the bl0wout...was a disaster. I was left with a thick sticky frizzy mess. I had to go over it with a flat iron at home to tame it. Whatever product she used was very thick and sticky and made it so I couldn't even run my fingers through my hair. I finally got my hair back to normal and I have not had my hair cut/styled since by anyone since due to fear.
