Casual, open Mexican spot for the West Loop neighborhood.. In Short
Just inside the entrance of the Presidential Towers development complex, this convivial Mexican restaurant is a convenient lunch stop for building residents and workers craving something more substantial than fast food. The atrium space is light and airy, with umbrella-shaded tables scattered across the wide floor. The menu features standard, satisfying south-of-the-border fare at reasonable prices, from nachos and tacos to tamales and combo plates. In addition, there's a handful of traditional entrees like chicken with mole sauce, carne asada and shrimp in garlic-butter sauce.

What a cool place!. It was pouring rain outside, but it was sunny inside La Margarita. It was very open and filled with trees to give it an outdoor feel. The lunchtime margaritas were perfect and made my afternoon a little more interesting. The fajitas were some of the best I've had in Chicago and the desert recommended by our waiter was awesome! It was an authentic Mexican desert called pastelillos, which I've never heard of. This is definitely a place to check out.

Best Food in the City !. This place is a hidden secret ! It really is. The food is by far and away the best mexican food I have had in the city. On top of that the staff could not be any nicer and more polite. I was blown away at my experience here. I will be going back. This place is perfect for larger groups, a date, and jsut about anything you want it to be for. It is a must go ! Lunch, dinner, drinks. Dont forget dessert at the end ! You might be stuffed with beans, and cheese but you must try the dessert. A true treat ! The best part is that is is reasonable priced and will not break the bank !
