We won't be back. – As an avid restaurant goer, I would like to say first off that I have been to Linda's a handful of times and eat out quite often. I have always enjoyed their breakfast when I want a greasy meal, but this last time(today) that I went in, the staff was unbelieveably rude. The place was busy, but there isn't any excuse to be rude. We are younger than the normal crowd that is in there(in our 30's), and for some reason we get ignored most of the time. I guess you have to be at least 60 to be treated well. So much for good service. I will not be back to Linda's.
Great place to eat ,you''ll become a regular – Been coming here for a couple of years know , and love the consistency of the HOME COOKED MEALS and hospitality. You cant argue with that unless uraaa hater.lol.Owell love the family like treatment .Great food for the money ,and good portion as well. I brought my family and friends here to eat and now they call it the spot to eat as well. Thanks for reading
Best Homemade Food w/ Seattle Mariners Theme – We live down the street form Linda's Homeplate & have been coming here for the past year, almost once each week. We love the food, service & atmosphere. Linda and her family & staff are great & we really try to support this local business during these tough economic times. We love Linda's Homeplate restaurant!
Number 1 in vancouver – My Husband and I are usually week-end patrons.
This restaurant has the best food and prices. We usually order
breakfast with their awesome Home-fries at no extra
charges. We just love their home fries and we rate them
at the best in our area . The young bus boys are always cheerful and full
of fun and the waitresses are very friendly and will bend over backwards
to make sure the food is hot and done as we like it to be.
The restaurant is always clean and the atmosphere is above
the rest in town. We rate them as 5 stars.
And we love the Seattle Mariners decor and we love the owner linda.
She is so nice and friendly.
thanks linda for a making your restaurant the best ever!!
Best for breakfast, lunch all week, and dinners on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday! – I eat lunch/breakfast at Linda's Homeplate everyday. The atmosphere is fantastic! The people that own and work there treat us all like family, and the food is superb! Linda's is very clean, and never saw an owner that is so consientous of cleanliness as Linda is. Have been eating there for over four years and do-not go any place else, to eat. All the customers are friends as well as, Linda and the crew make you a part of their family, going out of their way to be very personable to all. I can be feeling very frustrated, or upset about something when I arrive at Linda's, and within a very few minutes am relaxed, laughing and eating superb food. All of us that eat there say, "great food, great service, reasonable prices, fantastic entertainment, with no cover charge"! All my family and I, highly recommend the place to anyone and everyone! I cannot think of a thing at Linda's, that would be a negative comment. Linda, her family, and the whole crew + food, atmosphere, cleanliness are TOPS! Entertainment is JUST BUILT-INTO THE PLACE!
The Best Of The Rest – The Best of the rest
My wife and I have been regular customers for over 4 years and rate this restaurant
as the best in Vancouver. This is a family owned business who loves their customers,
especially the children. They have plenty of toys for the young to play and the child's menu
is awesome and priced right. Their food is of high quality and the portions are perfect.
That person who wrote a terrible review must be very sick and needs alot of help or they
very jealous of linda and crew. We give this restaurant a 5 star rating and we will always

GREAT customer service, AMAIZING home cooking and a WONDERFUL atmosphere for anyone from families to singles! – I'm going to start by saying everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and that?s great! However that?s even more reason to go to Linda's to form your own opinion on the food and the service! Personally I love this place and think it?s like a modern day cheers where everyone knows everyone from either outside the restaurant or from seeing each other numerous times while dining there (they are repeat customers for a reason)! I was in the food service industry for several years and this type of a family owned and operated restaurant is very rare and hard to come across anymore and as far as I'm concerned this place is one of a kind. As for the food portions, they are just rite for 99% of people and if you want more then order it, the prices are extremely low probably because you are not paying for 3x the food you are not going to eat anyways. It?s pretty sad if the worst thing someone could come up with is the condiment containers were dirty because there are no condiments containers out for the customers to access not to mention if you check the health scores over the past 5 years they are almost all 100% scores and the few that were not never fell under 90%. There is good reason this place is still around after 5 years staying consistently busy even during these hard times! So, get out there and make your own opinion people rather then listing to some bitter prude person on here!
wouldnt go anywhere else – We have been going to Linda's since it first opened a few years ago...the kids love it, the friends we have introduced to the place are also regulars now, and I even run into my family members there on occasion. A real neighborhood jewel, to all who know the place. The food is creative, and always of premium quality; the employees never hesitate to help you with anything you need...right down to coming to the homes of some of their customers and helping with things there (freely, and willingly may I add!). I wouldnt take my family anywhere else, and I think 1stclassmeals must be a complete idiot, or just not a very nice person to have made such claims (all LIES!) about such wonderful people who really run a quality business.
Best mom and pop place around – To start out this place is not a mexican restaurant. After reading the review (lie's) by 1stclassmeals i was wondering if this was the same place. My question to 1stclassmeals is, did you bring this up to linda or do you just hide behind your keyboard. As far as lindas hash goes, most people cant finish it, so your body size must be ready for the biggest loser to suggest such a thing. For anybody reading this review, its real simple, the food is not "pre processed" the people working there makes you feel at home, kids love the place, good food at a good price and on the weekends its worth the wait to get in, after all those places that dont have a wait ............theres a good reason for that.
Dirty, and unprofessional, will never go again! – This place is dirty and the condiment covers are more disgusting than I would even allow in my home let alone a public eating establishment. The portions are small and the food is never consistent, you will get a salad with only cheese and mushrooms on it one time and the next time tomato, cucumber and no cheese with a crouton or two. Linda's Hash has a little note on the menu to not share, I could not imagine sharing a cup and maybe a half portion for her so called full plate, must be a saucer she is refering to. Everything we have eaten here is pre processed and thrown together with no thought. The sevice is not the best either half the crew has no clue what is going on, but you will no what is going on in there own life unfortunately. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
