Great kids shoe store - only place we shop – The owner is very helpful. We have three kids, and she always helps pick shoes appropriate to the size and shape of each of my kids feet. Each of my three kids has very different taste, yet they all find shoes they love.
They carry an extensive selection of Keen shoes for kids, a brand recommended by my podiatrist because they have a wide toe box, which are good for kids feet.
I have a good experience every time I go there.
Best shoe store ever – This is my favorite shoe store ever for kids. My daughter has very wide feet that can be dificult to fit. This is the only place I have ever been to that gets it right. Their selection is great. If they don't have what I need they are able to get it quickly. Ths staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. On the one occasion that my son had a pair of shoes that came apart, I took them in and they where more than willing to fix them and return them quickly. All of the shoes I have gotten there have been very durable and because they are properly, fit my kids are able to wear them longer than most other shoes. I have been shopping there almost exclusivly since just after they opened, and am a very loyal costomer.
Terrible customer relations. Don't trust them to fit your baby's feet correctly! – I am a long term customer who will no longer be shopping at Clogs-n-more for Kids. When I go to a specialty children's shoe store, I count on their expertise to provide me with shoes that fit correctly. If shoes turn out not to fit as promised, I expect the store to replace them with a pair that does. MY SON WAS FITTED WITH BOOTS THAT DO NOT STAY ON HIS FEET AND THE MANAGER REFUSES TO EXCHANGE THEM FOR A PAIR THAT FITS. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS.
I bought a pair of rain boots for my 17 month old that fall off his feet every time they're in the air (in his car seat, in his stroller, etc.). Before purchasing them, I spent a LOT of time with the sales person pressing her to check and double check the fit. These were his first pair of boots, so it was tough to get a sense of whether they fit the way they were supposed to. I counted on her to send me home with a pair of shoes that fit. We measured his feet against the boot insert to make sure we weren't basing our sizing on his usual shoe size, but on the actual boot itself. I now realize we should probably have lifted my son up and jiggled him a little in the boots to see if they would fall off, but -- again -- I was new to this and assumed I was in good hands with this store.
I understand that shoe stores typically do not return shoes that have been worn outside. However, if there is something about the fit that could not have been foreseen by the customer, it is only reasonable to make an exception. I did not want my money back, I just wanted a pair of rain boots that stay on my son's feet.
I spent weeks trying to find toddler sized rain boots before this happened, so I'm particularly incensed about all this. I still have no rain boots as the manager wasn't willing to replace the unwearable pair for a style that stays on his feet and I'm unwilling to give more money to their store if they don't stand behind their products and service.
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ACCUSED OF THEFT- NO THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! – After high recommendations from my nanny, I took my twins (18 months) to shop here. I have never been so disappointed from a recommendation- or INSULTED as I was when I left. We were there for close to an hour- we were the only ones there most of the time and the customer service was atrocious. She kept recommending shoes that did not fit, could not keep the 2 shoe sizes straight, was resistant to placing orders for shoes I wanted, and generally not much help at all. But I persevered. When I got to the counter, one of the pairs of shoes I had picked were not at the counter with the other stuff. When I asked what happened she was totally flustered and said they didn't make it to the counter. I told her I handed them directly to her and said I'll take these. She looked at me like she didn't know what I was talking about. At that point I snapped and started to leave. she asked why - I responded it was her poor customer service. Then she tried to accuse my nanny of stealing- and that did it for me. when I contacted management they really didn't care, I will take my money elsewhere.
Amazing!! – So one person wants to write this store off because of a wide foot issue, and they dont get the popularity, but they still shopped there right?? This store is amazing. The people are so nice, you dont meet people like that anymore, that are so genuinely nice and willing to help. The shoes are a little pricey, but I bought the dansko clogs, and they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever bought!! I would definitely recommend anyone who is looking for that type of shoe to go there.
Great. – I don't know what the other user meant but the staff is very knowledgeable, kind and willing to help. They have the best smaller styles I've seen in the city--and I've looked. Their prices are very reasonable and they have a parking lot in the back of the store. I searched far and wide for shoes that would fit me (non-caucasian feet) and this place was a blessing.
Not so much – I just wasn't thrilled with either this store or the new kids Clogs-n-More next door. I'm starting to see these places everywhere and don't get the popularity. In particular, they didn't know much about kids feet--especially wide ones like my daughter's. Whatever.
