Save your money--don't bother!. My husband and I went to Sandy's last night to celebrate a special occassion, and were definitely disappointed. Everything was so overpriced! And don't get me wrong, I don't ever mind paying upscale prices when the food and atmosphere are great and meet my expectations. But this was not the case here. My appetizer of mushroom bruschetta was so bland, my lamb was tough and lacked flavor completely, and the potatoes were void of any flavor or spices. The waiter, however, was very polite and prompt. The atmosphere was nice and had alot of character, but that did not excuse the HIGH prices and LOW quality of the food.

Fine dinning hits Historic Franklin. Thursday night no reservations, my boyfriend and I went into Sandy's and was immediately seated. The menu offered some excellent choices, several seafood dishes, I had the diver scallops, with charred greens with a lemon / garlic sauce. The portions were healthy, the food was very well prepared and the service was great. Friendly crowd and the bartenders know everyone by name. Great place!
