If you want sushi that is really good, eat here. If you read these fake low reviews and think they are from customers.. they are not. They are from either people who own other sushi places around or people who kiss the a** of the owners of other sushi places around. The sushi is great. There is not a better place in Michigan (Shiro in Novi is a close call). I recommend the super energy roll, and also the spicey california tempura with teriyaki sauce on top. Other good ones are Chilli thai (my original fave), spicy tuna and salmon are both very fresh and good, and the Crunch Dragon roll. You also get a complimentary miso soup!!!!!! Miso happy when i eat it. Anyways, this place is better than any place around it. GOOD JOB KABUKI!!!

Kabuki rules! – Pay no attention to these morons who wrote these bad reviews...you can tell they are either the same person or they're friends writing LIES to try to bash the best sushi restaurant in the area for whatever reason. One had a $33 bill and the other had a $33 gift certificate?? What a coincedence!! Who buys someone a $33 gift certificate?? Nobody that's who. Kabuki rocks and it always has. I've been going there for years and I guarantee they didn't call that guy a cheapass for leaving a $2.00 tip. I also GUARANTEE it didn't take 50 minutes to get his order either...it NEVER takes more than 5 minutes...period! Everything he wrote was a lie. Top of the line sushi, great prices and great service...highly recommended!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! DIRTY RESTRAUNT!! – Used to love the place; i was a regular and spent about 75-$150 a week at this place for carryout for my office, but new management is TERRIBLE! A co-worker and i arrived and we were seated quickly; but it took about 15 minutes for a waiter to take our order. We had ordered about 4 rolls total and it took literally about 50 minutes to receive them! And on top of that they gave us 2 wrong rolls and we had to wait another 20 minutes to get the right ones. Our total was about $33.00 so we left $35.00 ($2.00 tip) I personally leave a tip based on the service i receive, which in this case was TERRIBLE! As we were walking out the manager calls us over to the register and has the nerve to call us cheap asses and ask for a bigger tip! I was speechless..I mean they only serve you water and YOU have to fill out your order. I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!! There is Samuri Sushi and Ninja sushi within 3 miles of this place, their sushi is great and the place is CLEAN!! Kabuki has been fined and shut down for a week for health code violations. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I would NEVER recommend anyone to eat here!!!!!!!

Not the only sushi in town. If you want rude service you will love Kabuki Japanese Restaurant!!!! – I used to eat at this restaurant weekly. I have been there over 100 times. My sister knew it was a favorite of mine so she purchased a gift certificate for me. I threw it in a drawer and forgot about it. Two or three years later I found it and tried to use it. Imagine my surprise when the owner of the restaurant told me they would not honor my stupid $30.00 gift certificate. I was shocked. Imagine that, a regular customer that is known when I walk in the door being told my gift certificate is no good. I bet I have spent over one thousand dollars on Sushi there and they would not take my $30.00 gift certificate. I asked the owner why and she laughed in my face and told me it was no good. I recommended to her she may want to consider her business practices and she promptly laughed the thought away. I again asked them to reconsider their actions as I was a very good customer. So their answer was they would honor half of the dollar value. Well if you can honor half why can't you honor the full dollar value? I paid for my meal and told them I would be contacting the Attorney general because I did not think their actions were legal. I am not an attorney and I do not claim to be but I do think I recall seeing somewhere that a gift certificate cannot expire less than 5 years after being purchased??? Again I do not know if that?s the law or not but good business practice would be that if someone has spent thousand(s) on Sushi at your restraint and they show you a thirty dollar gift certificate you may want to honor it. What you don't have the money any more?? The gift certificate was paid for. You got the money. Now I want something for it. Right. Well wrong. Not at this restaurant. At least not until I got the Attorney General involved. So in fairness to this restaurant I did get a credit for the full dollar value of the gif certificate BUT I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS RESTRAUNT AGAIN. In my opinion rudeness and this restaurant go hand in hand.
