Slurp your way around the world at this globally inspired noodle house. – In Short
Giant pasta-shaped door handles lead to a light, bright world of international soups, salads, fresh-baked bread and oodles of noodles. Orders are placed at the counter, prepared in the open kitchen and cheerfully delivered to your table. African chicken-peanut soup and curry with ginger and apples offer exotic taste adventures; for more familiar territory, try cobb-style pasta salad or macaroni with six-cheese sauce.
Noodlin' is closed!! No info on the door. 8/29/06 – My wife and I have been going to Noodlin' for years and really like it. Alas, we drive by today (8/29/06), and it's closed, with no signs on the doors/windows indicating that they have moved or are going to reopen. It's a loss for innovative, reasonably priced meals.
Cool food, inexpensive, great presentation, convenient – Like an earlier reviewer, every time we've eaten at noodlin' I've wondered how they can provide this level of quality food for the price. We go with my 5 year old, who loves the alphabet soup with the gummy worm surprise. Everything we try we like, and we're pretty picky. Presentation beautiful, service friendly.
Convenient location for Beaverton folks -- right next to shopping and the movies. One of our faves.
How not to satisfy a hungry gullet – I'm glad they closed down their shack on hawthorne, pho van will probably stick around longer. Noodlin' makes okay pasta dishes, and it's good they have a variety of flavors. I ain't a proud man, but for the love of god, I like being full when I go out to eat. Most places I go to do the trick since I snack a lot during the day. For noodlin' I ordered 3 entrees and was still hungry, maybe it's my hyperactive metabolism or that I'm a big fattie but that shouldn't happen at a pasta joint. Pasta's cheap and they should have bigger servings, but since the pasta wasn't all that anyway, I wouldn't go back.
Great Flavors Fabulous Price! – I eat at Noodlin a lot. A couple of my favorites are the Creamy Basil-Pesto and the Asian Chick'n Noodle Salad. And the here-baked bread with garlic butter is to die for. I love the fact that Noodlin' is organic and that the meats are free range. It feels good to put truly healthy food in my body and it tastes great too.
Burgerville Has something new to brag about ! – When I first heard about Burgerville doing a pasta concept for a fast food Restaurant I thought oh no! The fresh here-baked bread awith garlic butter is wonderful and my favorite is the Yaki Soba with Beef Tenderloin. A Ginger soy glase with Veggies and noodles.
We did have a problem with them on one visit which my wife cut her mouth a a red wire tie which some how came from the produce people were Noodlin gets its veggies. The red tie looked almost the same as a red pepper which they had in the veggies. The Manager did inform us that they had seen this before but no one had ever got one in there food and he was very sorry.
Other than that it is very good. I'm ready to go back but my wife needs a little more time.
Decent for a quick, inexpensive lunch – I have to say that the staf was very friendly! The manager came and thanked us for stopping in and we we again thanked for coming in when we left. Service was far more than we had expected from a quick in and out place. The food was adequate, but we felt it lacked flavor. To be fair - my family loves distinct flavors and spices - we steer away from anything bland. In the end it's a good place for fast, inexpensive food and friendly, terrific service.
Absolutely Great – This place is my favorite. I eat there several times a week sometimes. I get the southwest bowties with no veggies. Gosh its making me hungry now as I sit at work..yummm!
Mmmmmm! – How can they sell food this good, and this pretty, for this little? The presentation is amazing, the food is yummie, and the price is only a notch above McDonalds. This is the most impressive restaurant I have been to...ever. The only thing bad - there isn't one right next door to where I live. I can only hope...
I tried to like it as its the only place on the westside to offer quick pasta but its just awful compared to the other quick pasta restaurants in town. The pasta is over cooked and the sauces are blan. If you have time and want a great quick pasta dish try La Bucca, Pastini Pastaria or Justa Pasta where you'll find what quick inexpensive pasta is suppose to taste like.
