Dirty Spa – This spa seems cute but take a closer look not only did the girl doing my manicure share tools the where not sanitized but when i went to get my pedicure the tub was dirty. Its just another dime style dirty nail place that happens to give messages. Oh yeah and plus I had my eye brows waxed i asked her if she had training to wax and where. The woman had no experiance the nail tecs. do anything and everything. I will never go there again or recomend it.

best facial ever – This is the BEST spa I have been to so far, and I am a fanatic when it comes to skin treatments. I simply walked in without having an appointment and they took very good care of me. My easthetician (her name was Natalie or Natalya ) has planned out a customized treatmet and I was told that the process could take up to a few weeks since the skin needs time to adjust and heal. I realy like the way my case has been treated. And the results are unbelievable, my husband is very happy!! Go there just for the experience. I promise you, you won't regret it!!

Very relaxed atmosphere and away from main streets!

Best facials for men, and great people – Meridian is around the corner from me, and one of the best perks of living in Murray Hill. I agree with the other reviewer that this is an excellent place for facials for men. Ask for Ania - she's skilled and takes great care in what she does. If going for a massage, ask for Sarah! Everyone's noticably friendly and courteous, including the receptionist.

Best facial in New York - for men – I'm not one to go for facials, but a friend of mine recommended Spa Meridien and I must say it was fantastic. The person that took care of me was extraordinary. She applied all these special creams and gels and then finally applied a mask and massaged it into my face for almost half an hour ! Talk about dedication. I felt like I had a brand new face - all the impurities were gone. I think her name was Anna, Anya or Aneta (Eastern European for sure) - she was very professional and gentle.

If you're a guy, not too comfortable with the concept of sitting there for an hour while someone does funky things to your face - Spa Meridian is the place !

I love this place. – Almost always a great choice for a massage, facial or manicure and pedicure. I have been going there for over a year and have had many great treatments. The staff is very professional and well trained. The owner is often on site to make sure that everything is being done properly. If you live in the neighborhood or are visiting I recommend this spa!

Worst bikini wax ever. I think the women forgot she was working on a human. I am truly disappointed, I thought I had found a nice neighborhood place to get waxed.

Amazing Waxing – The employees are extremely nice and polite.

they take their time, and meticulously apply the wax in small areas.

they get the shape down to the last hair.

its amazing!

Great massage – I haven't had a massage this good in a very long time. I can't begin to express how happy I am to find this gem in Murray Hill. The worst is going across town to a spa, then having your feeling of relaxation disappear during your commute home. Some places give you the whole show... whispering conversation, sitting room, tea (like you need to feel like peeing in the middle of your 1 hour treatment)... While all the pampering is great, your body doesn't necessarily feel all that different once you step back out into the busy NYC streets. All I wanted was a good massage that would make my shoulders and neck not feel like I'm walking around in a permanent shrugging position. This place was unpretentious, no nonsense, and thorough, without bad attitudes, sketchy facilities or assembly-line rushing. If you want your 1 hour massage to actually be 1 hour and not 5 minutes of sitting room, 5 minutes of waiting and 5 minutes of "post-treatment relaxation" (no matter how early you get there), then this is the place to be... I will definitely be coming back.

Waxing Is Sub-par – While the spa is clean, the skills of getting waxing is sub-par for what you expect from a spa. Even if you pay for full leg waxing, they will lazily only wax where they THINK there is hair - so you will walk out with hair you paid to have removed. They do not pay attention to detail, which is definately the point of a bikini waxing, so I have been disappointed. I have gone here several times for waxing and have only received a decent waxing maybe 25% of the time so I am officially giving up and going elsewhere - you should, too.

Excellent Service – Spa Meridian is the only place I'll go for any nail or spa treatment. Their service is top notch and the treatments are amazing. It's a great place to get away from your everyday stress and to unwind, even if you're just getting a pedicure and manicure. I higly recommend Spa Meridian for anyone that likes to be pampered.
