Great Experience! – Right after putting my house on the market, my dryer goes out. Not a good thing to have dirty laundry piling up while prospective buyers are looking at your home. I call Action Appliance on a Thursday. Not only was the own of the company at my home that afternoon, I asked the customer service lady, if they could hold any payment til the next day (payday). They obliged. My dryer needed certain parts that had to be ordered. He ordered them while standing in my laundry room and found that they wouldn't arrive until Saturday. They came in as promised and the owner gave me a call. I was currently kicked out of my home for 2 showings so he said he could come first thing SUNDAY morning!! He was here by 9:15 am. I saw that he was having trouble putting the vent back on and he said that they particular vent I had was awful to work with (I believe it because I AM cheap). He replaced it with one he had in his van. I asked him to let me pay for it and he said not to worry about it! How can you get better than someone willing to come out on a Sunday morning and throws in a free dryer vent. The gentleman was very nice and professional. Highly recommend!! As far as the above reviewer...I feel like you get better customer service when you, yourself are respectful and polite as well.
Don't use this company – We have a Thermador oven that the main board needed repair. We have been without an oven for three months and the entire experience with Action Appliance has been a fiasco. They first sent out a repairman that couldn't even figure out how to take the oven apart. I told them to never send that guy again and send someone out who actually understood how to take apart an oven. They did send someone a week later that was competent and he took away the master control board saying it needed to be rebuilt. There were issues with rebuilding this board because Thermador no longer supported this oven... every interaction with getting the board rebuilt was made difficult by the main customer service person at the company who seems to think it's ok to berate and chide any customer that she doesn't care for. This is the worst customer service I have ever had in my entire life.
So... THREE MONTHS without an oven and they finally send out the repaired board with... GUESS WHO? The same guy that couldn't take the oven apart in the first place. He says it is more than he can handle and starts to walk out the door. I call the same awful customer service woman... tell her that we haven't had an oven in three months and they have to send out someone TODAY that can fix this... she screams at me on the phone... meanwhile the guy is trying to get out the door with the main board to our oven that WE OWN and he will not give it back to me... I leave the screaming woman on the phone and try to stop the guy from going out the door with the part to our oven that we own... he says we haven't paid for it yet and I say I will pay CASH right now for it... but he refuses and the awful customer service woman calls his cell phone saying she will call the police if I don't let him out the door... so I let him go... we still don't have our oven repaired... I will update this report as things play out. BUT DO NOT EVER USE ACTION APPLIANCE... THEY ARE MEAN ON THE PHONE... Their repairmen don't understand how to take the front of an oven off... THEY ARE AWFUL.
