I've been going to In Style Hair for 4 years now (they got new owners about 4 years ago) and I absolutely LOVE them! They've expanded to 4 locations and have phenomenal service at all locations! (2 even have boutiques if you like to shop!)
At the Waterford location they have the best eyebrow threaders in the world! And it's so cheap! They also have an incredible spa with a Signature facial for only $40! I've had skin problems in the past but ever since I started going to In Style Hair my skin is soooo much better! My favorite esthetician right now is Jessica- she does a FABULOUS microdermabrasion!
I highly recommend this place- 5 stars for sure!
HORRIBLE PLACE!!! – I received a gift certificate right before this placed closed and got bought over by another name. The new company will not honor Beaui-works gift certificates. I think it is wrong. I received a certificate that is worthless and I cannot use it. That was a waste of money. This place SUCKS!!!!! I will not do business with a company that will not work their customers. And, I know that this is not the first complaint that a customer has had about this place. I asked to speak with a manager and the receptionist said "that is what we are told to tell the customers that we cannot honor it and that is what the manager will also say." I said well that sucks. She said I guess. They don't care about their customers. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE or lack there of!!!
Loretta Tchulkowsky (Waxing and Facials) Has Moved – If anyone used to go to Loretta for waxing and facials, then you know that she is the BEST OF THE BEST. Well, LORETTA HAS MOVED and, unfortunately, Beautiworks doesn't like to tell her clients where she went. Well, I found her and SHE IS NOW AT DOLCE Salon which is slightly North on Alafaya Trail.
Quality services, dishonest staff who doesn't care about customers – I am disappointed to be compelled to write this. I was referred by a friend for eyebrow waxing and had great experiences. I gave the salon a chance to do a cut/color and will never go back. The actual cut/highlights were great but the staff was dishonest, rude, and showed absolute lack of customer concern.
I was quoted one price over the phone, charged another in person, have followed up for over a month to get a phone call back from the owner and nothing. I told multiple staff members that a simple phone call back from the owner would be nice and they could keep my business, but nothing.
If you have money to spend carelessly and don't care about staff that won't believe you, the actual talent of the staff is worth going for. Otherwise, steer clear.

Love this place! – I have been going to Beauti-works for FIVE years!! Love the people, love the customer service, everyone is wonderful! I had someone from another salon wax my brows and disaster! I have not let anyone except Lana touch my brows every since! (And I have even moved 20 minutes away!!) And not to mention Michelle is this BEST stylist I have ever had. I've been going to her for almost 3 years. If you want a quality, relaxing spa experience, this is where you should be!
Great Cuts, Great People, Just Great! – Referred by a friend. Got my first haircut ever there (a week ago) by Zarida. Best hair person ever! She listens and does exactly what you want. The staff was amazing. Offering coffee and cookies and just being really warm and welcoming. I move in MetroWest and I drove to Waterford Lakes for this cut. I totally don't regret it and will be there again in 2 weeks : )
Beauti-Works is not fair to loyal clients – I had been going to Beauti-Works for almost a year, since it was close to my home for manicures, pedicures, etc. I had tried them for haircuts, but wasn't very satisfied. I purchased a spa day gift certificate as a special treat to use after I moved into a new house. Well in the move, I had misplaced the certificate, however I had the exact day it was purchased and watched the owner write down in a black and white composition book the certificate number and specifics of what I had purchased. I went back in to the same salon where the front desk knew me and explained I had misplaced the certificate, but I had my credit card statement showing it had been purchased ($200 aprox.) and knew the date I had purchased it on. The owner told me that she couldn't help me. I explained that I watched them write it down in their composition book and they could look it up there. Again, she was very rude to me and said that unless I had the certificate, there was nothing they could do. Intrestingly enough, she could have pulled out the book, where they also record when it is redeemed, but what did she care, she already had my $200. The owner of the salon made me feel like I was trying to get something out of them for free. She also stated that I was told that when I purchased the certificate. I had never been told that. All they did was take my money. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BEAUTI-WORKS. TO THIS DAY I HAVE NOT RETURNED AND LET EVERYONE KNOW HOW THEY TREAT THEIR "HAPPY AND SATISFIED CLIENTS." I am out $200 for nothing and not one person at that salon, especially the owner, tried to even help me. STAY AWAY!
REBUTTAL-BEST SERVICES GUARANTEE – I am sorry that these two clients did not have a good experience at Beauti-Works. I am the owner and we pride ourselves on giving the most professional services and courteous treatment to our valuable clients. We have been in business for over 15 years, in two locations in Orlando, and always guarantee our work. Some of our technicians have been employed by us for the whole time that we have been in business. Yes, some people move on, and since this is a very transient state, some relocate, and some return to us when they move back into the area. We are a well educated, experienced staff dedicated to you, the client. We have thousands of satisfied customers that return to us over and over, and highly recommend our facility. Unfortunately, only these two have written their review, not the many happy clients that we see on a daily basis.
We do try to make every experience a satisfying one for every client, but we need the clients input in order to make everything right. If a client has had a less than satisfying service we do want them to let the management know so that we can rectify it immediately. If they do not voice their questions we will not be aware and will remain unable to rectify it.
We would ask the above clients to give us a call so we can make a special offer to them to give us another chance to prove how wonderful our facility is.
Hit or Miss... – I've been going to the salon for a couple of years now and Michelle has been my stylist during this time and I can't say enough about her. She's great!! She has colored, highlighted and cut my hair over the years and I've always been happy with the results. I've never walked out of there thinking that I'll have to "do it myself" when I get home because I always like the way she styles it and I get a lot of compliments too. I've also had my eyebrows waxed and that is where it's hit or miss...you never get the same person twice because they don't stay employed there long enough. Not sure why but there is a definite problem in that department. Sometimes they're waxing skills are up to par, others, not even mediocre.
