A rude man as the owner of a cute children's store -- not the best combination. Maybe his Mamma didn't tell him that you win more flys with honey than vinegar!
I needed a couple of extra days to redeem my gift certificate as I don't live close to his location. He said that 6 months was plenty of time to redeem. I explained that I just had my 3rd child and lived approx 45 min away. He said, sorry that's too bad. How hard would it be from a customer service stand point to offer 5 more days? I probably would have spent more than my g.c. value -- but now it will be hard to spend the g.c. at all.
Try The Merry Thought or Cotton Tots instead -- cute clothes 100% better customer service
Rude Employees - Stay Away. I have never felt so annoyed at any store than I have at this store. I can't believe that they are still in business!! They are rude and pushy. The man there seemed put out anytime I had a question and the hispanic lady working there kept trying to sell me more stuff....but not in a polite way. I have been there a couple times thinking that maybe they were just having a bad day...but nope..the same. I will not go back and neither will my friends. There are a ton of other children's boutiques that are SO much better. Try the Merry Thought just off Westhiemer or the tons of online stores.
Great prices, Awsome selection, Fantastic customer service. I can always find something special and unique at Village Kids. If you are tired of the generic, low-quality childrens clothes you see at the big box retailers, then this is the perfect boutique for you. In addition, the service is excellent and their return policy is far more generous than most stores.
clothing is overpriced and the service is rude. Most baby stores are very helpful to expectant mothers, but this store was managed very diiferently. First of all the there the gentleman that works there is snobby, unhelpful, and cold. Whenever I asked him anything he acted put off and bothered. Also when I asked him about his return polcies he was vague and negative. I even called once to ask a question, I had to call 4 times before even getting anyone, and then he gave an abrupt relpy and hung up on me! Great store. Village Kids is one of the best places to buy everything you need for your kids, I have gotten anything from clothes for my son for the Summer, to coloring books he needs for vacations. The employees were very helpful and courteous, I look foward to going there again soon.
the best store for kids. Finally a boutique for kids that has everything! Great place to shop for gifts, and all your kids needs.
