Great job! – I have used Colors of Europe to paint both interior and exterior of my house. I was very impressed by the craftsmanship and quality of the work. I can see clearly that this company takes care of their customers and make sure the job is done to complete satisfaction and up to the highest standards. My husband being a perfectionist could not find anything to be fixed when the job was completed. The work was done in timely matter. The owner was present to make sure all furniture was properly covered and protected and all the work done right. The same care was used when the outside was painted.
Our house is now the best looking house on our street and we get compliments all the time.
We have some rental properties and certainly will use Colors of Europe again to work there.
I would recommend Colors of Europe to all who want to have their painting job done to the highest standards.
The BEST painting contractor. – I have used COLORS OF EUROPE two times over the years and I always was completely satisfied with the results. The job was completed effectively and neatly. I was especially happy with the way my damaged walls were repaired and retextured. I would like to thank the owner of the company for his positive attitude and professionalism. I will use this company again for my needs and strongly recommend them to others.
Thanks for a great job – "We have returned from our trip and find our house completely painted and just beautiful. We want to thank you and your crew of workers for the outstanding and professional workmanship in preparing and painting our home. The results are all we hoped for and we would be very happy to endorse your work for future clients."
They weren't satisfied until our home looked perfect. – "Let me preface this...letter with that I am extremely particular and tend to do things very thoroughly. I interviewed and compared several companies to paint our multi-million dollar house in Del Mar. After my experience with Colors of Europe, I strongly believe they are a model of what a quality company is all about. From the initial quote, right through the finished product, my wife and I were very impressed. Everything that was promised in the quote, they delivered. They completed the job within the price they quoted and time promised (and this was right before Thanksgiving), and they weren't satisfied until our home looked perfect. The amount of time and detail they spent on touch-ups and second coats made us feel as if they were painting their own home"

Great job – "The paint job looks great, XXXX came around after to make sure the work was on track. We have told our neighbors of your very good work."
A definite no – The house was painted 3 years ago by previous owner. Colors of Europe used good paint for the walls of the house but missed spots. Some spots near bushes were not even painted and other areas only had one coat. I've had to go back and spot treat many areas. Today I hosed down a 2nd story deck with a garden hose (not much pressure) and a bunch of paint came off the wood. It was most likely improperly prepped, to include priming the wood. The roof was also painted with an "anti fungal, heat reflecting paint". Some of the tiles needed replacing so I called the company to see if I could get some touch up paint for the new tiles. I gave up after three tries and only getting the run around: once I even talked to the owner and another time one of his door-to-door salesmen was knocking on doors in the neighborhood. When the salesman talked to the owner on a speaker phone, I had to listed to the owner harass his employee, which included multiple profanities. Given this track record, I can not recommend this company to anyone. Keep shopping!
A leaking Milgard Window has ruined an otherwise happy experience with our new paint job on the house. – We were really pleased with the appearance of the completed paint job on our house. They also replaced all of our old Aluminum windows with nice new Milgard Vinyl windows. In December there was a heavy rain storm in San Diego and one of our new Milgard windows leaked like a sieve; water soaked the inside of our wall around the new window, and even got the carpet wet under the window. I immediately got out in the rain and put some Henry's Wet Patch along the top of the window, and it seemed to slow down the leak a little, but the window still leaked. Colors of Europe came out and inspected, and applied some extra caulking above my wet patch, but the window still leaks, and the paint and finish on my inside wall around the window is all crumbly and discolored from the rain water, and we have mold growing on the inside of our new Milgard window frame. It's disgusting to look at, and both Colors of Europe and Milgard Windows contractors have come to my home and inspected it. Milgard did a 'leak test' on the window, and sure enough, their technician saw that the window does in fact leak inside from the window frame. Unfortunately, nobody has come to fix the window! Milgard told me they would, but then another technician came to look at the defective window, and told me no...they wouldn't replace it unless Colors of Europe contractors were here with them when they started. In the mean while, we are expected to just live with the damage and if it rains and it continues to leak? Too bad homeowner, not our problem. I have written a formal request to Colors of Europe asking them to make this right, and will send it Registered to ensure they get it. I feel that although the owner is very pleasant about getting it fixed, four (4) months is too long for us to have to wait for them to get this window replaced or repaired. I may have to take them to court. Still waiting with faith in humanity that they will do the right thing and fix this damage.
