Simply the Best! – Thank you thank you thank you! Karma was "home" to so many of us, but you have taken it and improved on it more than words can describe!
NYC has nothing on "The Mark"!
Downtown Classic – So many clubs come and go in Atlanta....The Mark is an all time CLASSIC. Formally Karma, then revamped into the swanky, mondern lounge "the Mark" will always beat your expectations. The space is great with many different areas to dance or catch up with your friends. I have been to the new places and although fun, The Mark is the root of Atlanta clubs.
It's alive! Downtown's Alive! – Wow. The old Karma got a hell of a facelift. Much better than before, and improving on itself week in and week out. We went last week to catch Grandmaster Flash and he did not dissapoint. The decor is swanky, the sound system is awesome, and the vibe definitely hits on point! A little crowded that Friday night, but that's to be expected. Downtown's definitely coming around with the Mark and Sidebar (former ground level of Karma) on the ground level. We picked up some great food and drinks and then headed down to the club. Great pair!!
Do Yourself a Favor – This place has one of the greatest layouts I've ever seen -- easily the best in Atlanta. Beautiful decor, plenty of room to lounge, great flow, with the dance floor separate. And the staff are really cool, too; none of the attitude like you'll find at eleven50. I was very impressed; I just hope people will make the drive downtown to check it out because it's totally worth it.
Great new idea for Atlanta – *this* is the NYC/SF-style lounge/club I've been waiting for. go early, hang out, then decide whether to hit the "club" part or head elsewhere.
Mark hits the Mark – This is one of the better niteclubs/lounges I have been to in the ATL.
The decor has plenty of eye candy with a touch of an asian feel to it for extra splendor. The staff is courteous, and the bartenders know how to pour their reasonably (by lounge standards) priced drinks, and luckly have enough at their disposal to make just about anything.
The DJ set up is above average and the place is a decent size. So it can good venue for a big DJ show or other special events.
But what really makes this place is the crowd.Various hipsters and trendy mid 20 somethings that I thought only existed in NYC or MIA really set the tone, even better than the various TV screens in the walls
