Lousy phone service – Call up and place your order and deal with a 10 minute ordeal where the guy just can't seem to get it right and keeps interrupting you, misses half the digits in your credit card number, etc. Then the driver shows up earlier than predicted by about 20 minutes with a pie that's undercooked. That's the Mad Pizza experience: soggy undercooked dough.

I'd have to be crazy indeed to order from them a third time.

The pies are crazy good at this Lake City pizza depot. – The Scene
It's not quite pizza madness, although this pizzeria claims to be "committed." The pies are good and are handled by an unfailingly cheerful staff. Join the hip young crowd showing off their piercings and tattoos while waiting for their orders. Or dash in for a slice at lunch, then sit back and have fun watching the other customers.

The Food
Toppings range from classic pepperoni to a combination of Granny Smith apples, oranges and cashews on "Sybil's Breakdown." Best for omniivores are the "Prozac Pie" (sausage, pepperoni, salami, etc) and the spicy "Smokin' Chicken" (BBQ chicken, red peppers and feta on a garlic-ricotta sauce). Veggie lovers get plenty of love too, with nine specialty pizzas including the simple-but-great "Institutional Classic" (tomato, basil and roasted garlic on an olive oil base).

horrible customer service – I called them at 10:40 on a Saturday night and tried to order pizza for delivery. The woman who answered passed the phone on to a guy who said that they stopped delivering because they closed at 11 pm. The website says midnight. I told them it was only 10:40 and he said sorry and hung up. Forget Mad pizza and call pagliacci - good custumer service and they deliver during their business hours.

Decent pizza at the cost of HORRIBLE service!!! – Hours noted online are 11AM to midnight for Saturdays. Menu and coupons I have say "delivery from 11AM till close" on them. Called at 10:30 on Saturday and told they are not delivering since they close at 11. Asked why since the hours state 12 as the closing and he says, "eh, I'm just uh...doing as instructed". Got blown off again when I called back. No more business from me. Always bad service.

Hold! – Called for delivery pizza last night and the phone rang and rang and rang....hung up and tried again, finally got an answer! Ordered a large pepperoni and mushroom -- would have thought it was a unique pie because it seemed to confuse the person taking the order. Then I hear HOLD! and several minutes pass before I hang up. I have been to the restaurant and it is only ok - certainly not so good as to put up with sub-par customer service. With at least 3 other pizza deliver places to call I choose to spend my $ elsewhere and doubt I will bother with Mad Pizza again since they are too busy to bother with delivery orders.

makes me mad – an over priced, soggy pizza. As the other reviewer stated, the red sauce tastes funny.

Mediocre Pizza – The pizza was soggy, and had an odd flavor to the sauce. There wasn't enough cheese on the pizza and it had been underbaked. The order was incorrect and instead of redoing it they just removed the items that we did not order, but since it was already baked it left that flavor in the pizza.
