Beware----Worst gay club ever!!! Trashy!. These people have no customer service. The lady at the door always smokes a cig as she take your money. The bartenders wait on the gay men first, even on ladies night. This is an old run down building making bank off people who get treated like sh*t. I have been there many times, but last night was a last for me. The people are rude, the drinks are pricey, and they dont care about their cutomers!!

Stay away from this bar!

Beware the Rude Tranny Barkeep!. Rumors is a pretty good gay club for Grand Rapids. It's kind of sad there's really only 2 to choose from (this and Diversions), but what can you expect in a city like GR? Anyway... the 'Foam Nights' at Rumors are awesome! The dance floor is hoppin' and really fun, and you'll always find nice people. There's a good mix of twinks and more mature men... I also saw lots of straight girls, so everyone is welcome. I would have given this place 4 or 5 stars if not for that RUDE tranny (drag queen?) barkeep! Why they continue to keep her/him on the payroll is beyond me. She's very rude and abrupt, and seems miserable to be doing her/his job. Honey, if you wanna act like that, I think it's time to hang up the Thelma Harper wig and retire.
