Great food-worst waitress ever! – Went in last night and had a great meal but the waitress was the worst I have ever experienced. Threw our menus on the table without a greeting, grabbed plates out of our hands, all in all a terrible waitress. Short brunette with blue-ish eyes may have been having a bad night but your in the service industry go home or just be nice. Wont come back anytime soon because of her. Just a horrible server, must be a terrible person to deal with.

Extra thin crust is the way to go... – Me and my guy were back in the old neighborhood last week. Before we moved downtown Rocco's was our spot. It was Friday night and the place was jammed. The extra thin crust pie is the best around. Piping hot right out of the oven with mushrooms and basil. Rocco has my heart. Sorry i can't get there more often....Open downtown please Rocco.....We love you.

Best Pizza & Customer Service – Happened to stumble into this place by complete accident. I have to say the pizza was great and the atmosphere was absolutely wonderful! Loved the cold beer and GREAT customer service!! Very clean establishment!

I had a little problem that needed solving ( not relating to the restaurant ) and a sweet guy by the name of Steve that worked there really helped me out. Couldn't have ran into a nicer guy! He told me where I could get the sausage I was looking for and boy was it good!!! I'll have to come back to California for more!!

There were 10 of us, most from different states, and we had a wonderful time while at Rocco's. I was more than pleased! Will definitely be back same time next year!!! Paula

Fake food, fake blondes and a terrible waste of money. – My boyfriend and I just drove back from Rocco's and before we evened opened our silver square (New York would never do square) to-go containers, we pact to never return to this salty slick excuse for a pizza joint. I am a NY transplant and have been on the hunt for a decent slice of greasy New York style pizza since I stepped off at LAX. I read reviews for Rocco's promising mediocrity at best, all I have been asking for, and we headed off to Miracle Mile to feed my craving. I loved the location, set amidst some taller (for L.A.) buildings and what looks like could be some mid-scale boutiques & restaurants. Red/white checkered & umbrella'd tables added the perfect amount of warmth to the cold crispness of this commercial district - like home. The smell of the pie crusting brought me back to Two Boots in the Village after a night at the Fat Black P*ssy Cat. But make no mistake. This is L. A. And you are reminded as such the moment you swing open the front door and are greeted, aggressively, by a tall blonde mess with a smile too fake even for this city, standing guard between the customer and the counter at all times. expanding the distance, LA style, between the consumer & the producer. Admittedly I kept trying to dodge her, I wanted to lean my stomach up against the counter and order my pie, I wanted to lock eyes with the cashier and hear him yell back to the flour covered pizza boy to start preparing my pie before wiping sweat from his forehead. But I was blocked by six feet of blonde frigidity shoving laminated menus in our faces. We ordered: Eggplant Parm., Chicken Fett. Alfredo, and a few varieties of pizza slices: BBQ, Suprm., Cheese. An 8 min. wait turned into 23. Not worth the extra 15 min. The eggplant was like cardboard, the alfredo sauce CLEARLY made from powder poured over cold purdue chicken strips, and the sauce was so salty it was barely edible. Thank God LA hasn't done away with the taco trucks, or we'd have starved tonight.

Great place to go if you want to throw your money and time away. – awful service, I cant imagine how anyone could not want to leave while being served rudely and disrespectfully. Food isnt all that great, too much greese and oil, no taste whatsoever. If they didnt skimp on the portion size then you might feel like you got what you paid for somewhat if you dont think about the horrible service. Its only a matter of time before this place is shut down due to better choices and MUCH better food elsewhere. HIGHLY recommend you choose another italian place to dine, and from the looks of the other bad reviews here you dont have to take my word alone to know that this place needs to go.

Awesome Food – I was recently invited to this place for a super bowl party. I never even knew about it. The place was packed mostly with New Yorkers routing for the Giants. Being from Baltimore, i hate the Red Sox, so i quickly jumped on the BanWagon. Me and my friends had alot of fun, plus the pizza was great. I also had a Antipasto Salad, which was really good. Check it out, you won't regret it.

BAD food, HORRIBLE service, HIGH prices - Don't Go! – I usually dont write reviews but in this case I had to, I love pizza and italian food but this place was simply not up to par in many areas. I noticed that people on here dont really review the food but rather that they liked that they had TVs to watch. Im not complaining about the TV's, but if thats the best a italian pizzeria has to offer thats pretty sad. The customer service was horrible and it seemed that as I watched the waitresses "serve" the customers and take orders (not at your table mind you, YOU have to go up to them) that they had a brown nose syndrome. The grease on these pizza slices are simply outrageous. My plate might as well have been a bowl in order to contain it all. I felt nautious just looking at it. Dont get me wrong I loves me some grease, but COME ON, I could have filled up my gas tank in my car with a pizza. If you want CHEAP prices, TVs to watch, and the same quality type of pizza as Roccos your better off going to Shakeys down Fiarfax. If you actually want GOOD pizza and italian food you go to Jonny's New York Pizza down Wilshire a few blocks. I have a few friends who also went to Rocco's and got sick from the food, so thats what prompted me to write this as well as the bad expierence I had there myself. Please, Im only trying to help you out, check out another pizza joint worthy of your money and loyalty.

Not gourmet or fancy, just good pizza – Been here many times with my buds. This is the antidote to tiny, fancy gourmet pizzas of the Pizza Mozza, CPK types. Rocco's gives you big, greasy, topping-filled pizzas that just taste good. Nice staff and easy parking (at least at night). Worth a visit.
