AWFUL AND WAS LIED TO – My family met Jeffrey, one of the comedians, in Times Square. He invited us to come out and said that it would be perfectly appropriate for our entire family, even our 2 15-year-old daughters. But when we got there, the jokes mostly consisted of blowjobs, homosexuality, sperm facials and many other off color topics. We left before it was over and when I asked to speak with Jeffrey, he said he didn't have time for me, but would call me. I gave him my number and still haven't heard from him. What a surprise.
So if you like vulgar, non-funny comedy and like to sit uncomfortably in your grandmother's basement with 12 other people, you'll love this place.
Great Show! – A great comedy show last week with friends in town! We got tickets discount tickets from Best Comedy Tickets site, and we really enjoyed all the comedians, and the Laugh Lounge Staff.
I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a great night out buy tickets from best comedy tickets they even recommend some good places to eat in the area.
Disappointed...Will not EVER return! – I had intended to have a great evening at the Laugh Lounge Sunday February 20, 2011, which started out mediocre and worsened as the night progressed. I sat through the first two comedians, but walked out before the 3rd act because of the Emcee Jonathan. The crowd consisted of approximately 20 people, 94% Caucasian. To my recollection there was 4 African Americans including myself. I was accompanied by a friend and we chose not to sit in our assigned front row seats in this two sectional basement seating. Anyhow, the Emcee Jonathan before bringing out the 3rd act said the following: “Why did they seat the two Black women in the back, isn’t it Black History Month?”; “I love karaoke, but I cannot do this to rap music as I cannot say a certain word.” He then came off the stage and pointed his microphone toward the mouth of a Caucasian woman and said “What word is it, you cannot say it either! Another woman within the audience stated “I think it is okay to use the N-word as long as you place an ‘a’ instead of ‘er’. From the back of room, I stated “Although, yet unfortunately some African Americans may choose to use the N-word to greet each other, many within the African American community are not fond of such.” This poor taste of a joke opened up a door that included not only the ignorance of the Emcee, but also a crowd participant, which made the room uncomfortable not only for myself, but a few Caucasians within the audience.
In speaking with the Manager Delilah Ramose, there was no immediate resolve other than an offer of our $ back. Nevertheless, she defended the ignorance displayed. Thus this is an establishment I would not recommend to my African American community who chooses not to embrace ignorance.

Impressed – I entered laugh lounge last friday. The host of the show was Wil Slyvince. The comedians that night were Mike Yard, Michael Troy, and Imagine. All four of them were really funny. I really enjoyed the show, much more than anticipated.
The show took place in the basement of the lounge. Personally, i think the space was a little too small for the amount of people there were. The tables/audience members were too close together, but i was glad my assigned table allowed me to have my back against the wall.
Very funny people – The place was nice. You felt welcome. The comedians were great. The two that caught my eye were David "The Voice" Stein and Sergio. They rocked! Hope they make it big time!
Great spot – I have been to the Laugh Lounge numerous times, and have never been disappointed. The drinks are strong and the comedians are hilarious.
Yikes!!! – I would not go back to this venue. What is with all the attitude?I hope others have a better time there than i did.
best comedians – This was my first comedy club i've ever been to and i loved it. i went on 08/02/08 to the better then chocolate show at 1230. When you first walk in they greet you and you walk into a nice lounge. We waited in the lounge untill we were called to go downstairs. Downstairs wasnt as nice as i thought it would be but still comfortable. The comedians were very funny. Im definitely going back.
Great fun and tons of laughs! – I've been to Laugh Lounge twice, once with my girlfriend and once with a large group for a birthday outing. Both times were a blast. The bar area is quiet but trendy and the bartender was great. The bar area gets a bit crowded right before showtime, so it's worthwhile to get there a bit early and enjoy the lounge area.
The shows are fantastic. Both times we were laughing from start-to-finish. And no need to worry about the traditional 'pick-on-the-audience' comedy. These guys have great material of their own. They do a great job of getting the audience involved without much grating.
At the end of the show, it's refreshing to have a bar area to congregate and have a drink while sorting out the gameplan for the remainder of the evening.
All-around a great time at Laugh Lounge and highly recommended for folks looking for something different than traditional nights on the town in NYC!
