“The fish smell is a bit overwhelming, but hey, if you need some fi.”
“Good place for some cheap seafood”
low-end customer service. Expect not the good old American customer service here. Rudeness seems to be the standard. Common courtesy is a premium—no friendly smiling employee here, they won't offer much help if any, anymore than thank you for your business. It's their regulation culture in all their branches all over and it stinks more than their fish. I won't recommend this place to a friend.
Good Store but RUDE Employee Encountered 11/16/10. I've been a customer of Seafood City (most of the time shop at this branch closed to our house)for so many years and it's good to shop all the things you needed especially in preparing for filipino dishes and in times of potlucks and parties preparation BUT this is my first time encountering a super RUDE employee who's cleaning the fish about an hour ago TODAY. I was there and really got upset with that very rude man who commented like this when I am choosing which halibut fish i will get, HE COMMENTED WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING A LIVE HALIBUT FISH!?, and it's a very rude and sarcastic comment for the customer and he keeps talking and i ended up leaving the place upset and it pushed me to answer that he's so "talkative" he still keeps saying something. I left with my shopping undone because I don't wanna see and encounter the employee with a very BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I encountered so many of them and no one like him. Most of them are nice, accommodating and hardworking even the oldies but this only one person really gets into my nerve because HE IS BASTOS!!!!!. I looked for the supervisor and told him about what the rude man did to me so he can talk to him. I went back to the frozen section in such a way I can check if the supervisor talk to the person and HE DID. (thanks for that action). I don't know what did the man's excuse but there's a better word to tell the customer and not like that!. He's so mean!. It discourages me to shop in that location although it's so near to my house. Maybe I will still do but once I see the same man I might not buy in that section anymore. I don't wanna encounter the same rude man. Overall, there's a lot of good filipino workers down there and their prices are ok and you can find almost everything you needed in that place. They just need to counsel and educate that person to have a good moral character and good customer service or else customers will not be happy shopping in their branch.
Editorial Review. Bustling Filipino fish market's long aisles are lined with exotic seafood like tilapia and milkfish, plus grocery items and snacks.
