I wish i had read the reviews before ordering from here to have flowers delivered to my wife's work for Valentine's Day. I ordered 2 weeks in advance & they never got there, though my credit card sure went through. They apparently called her twice to get directions, even though I had asked them to call me. This is not a hard place to find, multiple other women in her office got their flowers. Do they not have GPS or a smart phone(see other reviews)? I called that day to complain & was told someone would call me back, they did not. I called the next day & was given a refund & told I would get 20% of my next order... My wife got no flowers on Valentine's Day, I look like a Schmuck, her friends got flowers, 20% off another order is not going to help here.
If you want flowers, I would not recomend going here.
Bad experience!!! – I received flowers for Valentines Day from a friend. My 1/2 dozen roses and greenery looked so sad when I received them. They were delivered Valentine's Morning @ my place of employment @ around 8am. They lasted 2 days maximum. The tips were curled and brown when I received them and they looked so "old" and sad. I would not recommend this florist to anyone. After doing further research, I was told that they are known for using "old" flowers in their boquets. Such a let down.
Ruined Anniversary Gift – I ordered a bouquet for my wife to celebrate our 15th anniversary. I chose to use FTD to have a local florist deliver the flowers to avoid sending "boxed" flowers offered by some companies as well as to support local businesses.
First, the flowers were left at a neighbor's house because my wife was not aware they were being delivered, no courtesty call before attempting to deliver...nice surprise having the neighbor drop off flowers! Adriene's is less than 4 miles away so a quick phone call or a note left to redeliver would have been a much more professional approach.
Next, my wife received the flowers and noticed that the box around the base of the flowers was soaking wet, and opened it to discover that the vase was cracked all the way around the base. She called Adrien's and was told that a new vase would be sent, but it would be delivered the follwing day and that she should "find something else to put the flowers in" until a new vase could be delivered...so much for not having to arrange "boxed" flowers and being able to just enjoy them. This call was made at 2:30pm so not sure why they could not have just brought out another vase right then.
Next, I was traveling so I asked my wife about the quality of the flowers and found that instead of the 25 stem bouquet I purchased, she received 11 roses and 6 lillies for a total of 17 stems...33% fewer flowers than ordered.
I contacted FTD directly since Adriene's refused to correct the issue and FTD contacted them and then called me back to tell me that Adriene's refused to correct the issue beyond offering to bring out a replacement vase the following day.
FTD ordered a new bouquet from another florist, so even though I ordered flowers for this special occaision 3 weeks in advance, my wife will now get her flowers 3-4 days after our anniversary.
THANKS Adriene's for ruining a milestone event and causing both my wife an I all of the extra calls to resolve a simple issue! The total price of this order including delivery was $97...in the future I will save money, time, and frustration and go with the online "boxed" flower delivery.
Very Disappointed – I am very disappointed in the service and quality of Adrienes Flowers and Gifts on 96th street in Fishers. I am the manager of a local business that has fresh flowers delivered weekly. The initial visit to the store went well and the first 2 deliveries were beautiful. However, after receiving the first invoice I noticed that I was being over charged from the agreed upon price. Also the quality of the flowers greatly decreased. I received the same bunch 2 weeks in a row. I called and spoke to the florist and he apologized and said that the price would be fixed and the arrangements would reflect the size we had agreed upon. The following week the arrangement was pretty but smaller. This week I received 6 stems and the price was still not changed. BECAREFUL when choosing this florist for more than one order!!
