Quintessential party pub seduces single 20-somethings with a huge menu, expertly drawn beers and eye-candy clientele. – In Short
The cavernous, dark wood-paneled space is an unassuming restaurant by day, but turns lively once the after-work crowd rolls in. Young suit-types take off their jackets and play pool after the first round of beers. On weekends, tables in the central dining room give way to a hopping dance floor. The all-night menu includes sloppy nachos and Gouda cheese sticks. The rest of the menu is served until 10pm and includes sandwiches and salads.
Bad customer service – I used to love this place earlier, but our recent experience was quite bad.We went there on a saturday night, the drinks were horrible, we ordered a kamikaze, and got something that tasted like lemon concentrate, the glass was 1/3 rd full, and the bartender refused to even half-fill the glass. Later we ordered tequilla shots, and barely got half a shot, when we asked the bartender to fill up the shot glass, he just plain refused!!!
Too crowded, and not much hip crowd either. We definately don't plan on showing up at this place again!
User review by lmueller – overall a good experience, drinks tasted a bit watered down, and instead of tonic water they used club soda in my gin and tonic. dancing doesnt really get going til 10:30-11 but overall a good time.
beware of trashy girls dancing on the dj booth though
Great Time!!! – I went on a Friday night and had the best time! The staff were incredibly nice and the drinks were well poured and reasonably priced. The bathroom attendant was very helpful and kept the bathroom spotless. My friends and I had an awesome time and we would recommend it to everyone.
Good for Happy Hour... – However, I've been in the evening and it's too crowded and the drinks are chincy. It's a favorite for happy hour with me and my co-workers. $2 Miller Lites and $3 nachos that are large enough to spilt.
gag me with a frat boy – nuff said....need i say more?.no, i don't think so.
just another franchised bar......where's the originality?
not in this one or any of the other cities this bar exists....
Typical stupid college bar – If you're looking to be crammed into a tiny, hot space with low class people, this is the bar for you. Ladies do not get in free as someone else on this page has suggested. The music is very proletarian so I guess some of you would like that, but it's kind of hard to dance to Sweet Caroline at the end of the night. I know what you're thinking, "why didn't you just leave?" Believe me, if the people I was with hadn't wanted to stay, I would have left after a half hour. A slightly better pick is the voodoo lounge across the street, classy but no cover charge. Although it should be called the DooDoo lounge due to it's hideous brown stucco. But please don't waste any money getting into McFadden's (which should be called "me enfadan!")
It's not just a nightclub! – It's a great spot and a gorgeous restaurant! The bar(s) are impressive and it looks very classic. I went to eat there on a weekday and it was dead! I was told that they get really packed on Friday and Saturday nights for the dance club. It is so much more than that! The staff was friendly and even a pool table. It is a great happy hour spot! And the Hershey's Chocolate cake was decadent!
Check it out!! – The hottest new place to hang out with your friends. Whether it's guys' night out or girls' night out...any occasion will do! Don't have to dress to impress...total kick back bar and a bonus there is good music! And ladies...no cover!
WORTH THE TRIP! – I enjoyed this pub because they play a good variety of music and there is a small dance floor for those who want to dance. The McFadden Girls are hot and make the trip worthwhile. It was just opening when I went, so the drinks were mediocre. They also have a couple of pool tables and I think some food selections.
