Don't try to get your car repaired They fixed the problem not the cause. $700 for a coil and they didn't change the wires on a 13 year old car? Was wanting to buy a new car but with service like this will go to another dealer.
After visiting another dealership on the north side of indy I had sworn off buying a VW. A friend sent me to see TIFFANY at Falcone and I ended up with a deal I liked, a car I love, and an great experience I'll never forget.

Tiffany Compton made it all worthwhile. I was shopping all the Subaru dealers and Chrysler. She called me 15 mins after I posted online with Subaru HQ. Her friendliness was only surpassed by her intelligence and knowledge of her product. I have already suggested all 8 of my brothers and sisters shop her store when they are ready to buy. Bob Falcone helped us immensely and we are now Subaru at Falcone for life.
Pay for Work Never Done – Although Falcone's customer service representatives were cordial and considerate, actual car repair/service was deficient, if existent at all. I took in my 2006 Volkswagen for a 75K checkup/alignment in January and was immediately informed about several 'outstanding' issues.
The excessive fees appropriated to these 'procedures' seemed exorbitant (and it was). Powertrain and exhaust issues were listed, with total charges in excess of $3,500. Luckily, I talked to a mechanic buddy of mine and he said there was no powertrain issue and the exhaust problem could be fixed at a mom-and-pop shop for $200-$300 (1/10 of Falcone’s ‘price’). I got numerous supplementary estimations and all came to a similar consensus.
Getting back to the alignment work done, it wasn't! Another shop did this weeks later at half the cost after I noticed no changes pre- to post-work performed. I placed a complaint and wanted to speak to an administrator but was never called back. Ever heard of the Jiffy Lube scam?…..Yeah, never going back to this place again; exceptionally disappointed/dissatisfied/ outraged!
Service Dept Woes. – Falcone Volkswagen's service dept failed to replace the drain plug correctly when doing an oil change on our car. The engine ran out of oil on the highway with my infant son in the car. We agreed to work with the dealer and entend the warranty when they claimed that the engine had not been damaged-they agreed to extend the engine warranty to 100,000 miles. Now at 80,000 miles we are ready to move cross country and have discovered that there is significant damage to the cam shaft, per a highly respected independent mechanic who is highly rated by the bbb and on Indy's A-list for mechanics(Falcone is not a member, btw). Falcone stated that there was nothing wrong with the engine even before he let his mechanics look at it, but when we went in to inspect the engine with them it had not been cleaned and the mechanics did not know which tools to use to turn the engine to even look for damage. They still refused to see anything even after they were clearly shown the stress cracks and discoloration of the metal. Stay clear of this dealer, and unfortunately since VW USA has sided with the dealer in this case we are out $3000 for a repair and will not be buying a VW again, even though I love my diesel Jetta. It's all just very very sad.
I highly recommend this dealership to my colleagues. – Was very pleased with the sales process and knowledge of VW. Owner of dealership was available, considerate and instrumental in customer satisfaction. I would highly recommend this dealership to my colleagues.
Our Wonderful Experience! – We had leased an '08 Impreza from a different dealership and had become very disappointed with their service over the years. The car had many issues over the years. It was a constant battle to get help. At the end of our lease we once again gave the other dealership one last chance, thinking that maybe it would be different. It was not. I called Falcone Subaru and was beyond pleased with the assistance I received over the phone from John Franks. We had been waiting 3 years for someone to be helpful to us. The process for leasing a car this year was as simple as it was informative. We found the car we were interested in day one. Day two we turned in our credit application. Day three we picked up our new car. John showed us the features of the car and off we were. Anytime we are asked where we got our car this time we will be sharing our wonderful experience with them. Since 1986 have done business at the 16th St. location. It is apparent the Falcone operation is much sharper and finer tuned (front desk, charming salesman, etc). Good luck for much prosperity. My compliments to the much improved van ride coordination. I have been through years of trips & van drivers. This time....the driver called off the names according to the signed clip board. Good idea! Was not sure, but thought that folks then sat according to first off, etc. I am usually first off at the medical center...so sitting in the back corner is not convenient. I wanted to share that Ingar Vanags and Steve Lloyd provided me with great service during my experience
with Falcone Volkswagen. I had test driven and worked with Steve Lloyd on purchasing a 2004 Mazda RX-8 a few Saturday's ago and once I had left the dealership with it had mechanical issues within an hour or two. Ingar was very helpful the following Monday morning when I arrived and showed me a 2003 Beetle they had recently taken in. After a short test drive, I decided to go in this direction and Steve worked with me, keeping me informed of the progress while the body shop and service departments prepared it for delivery.
