A Soul Food Experience!.
WOW! I was blown away when I ate at the Country Kitchen this weekend! My husband said he would come there every time he visits Indy from now on, Their collard greens; like my mama's -- yams; took me back to Tennessee; fried corn bread, A+ , and my husband fell in love with the black-eyed peas.
But the Lemonade!........."Off the Chain" and served in a jar! Our service was exceptional and FAST! I loved our waitress Regina, ( ask for her section and tip her well, she is worth it!)
I am a cook by trade, and I have a reputation as a better than Great cook. so please trust me, you will LOVE this place if you love Country "Soul" Food!
the best soul food in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is the best soul food place in Indianapolis, Indiana. Their mixed greens are the best. And Ms. Betty"s homeade banana pudding is off the hook. One thing though, they should give you free refills on their good lemonade. My rating is no# 1.
