Best salon ever!! – I have been a client at Bella for over eight years now and I have always been extremely satisfied with my stylist, the salon and the many services that they provide. The salon is trendy and uses Aveda products which I love. The facials are wonderful as well as the massages. I recently tried a new treatment that they just started offering called a Brazilian Blowout. It straightened my hair and made it soft and very shiny. Kudos to the salon for staying on top of new products and treatments for their clients. It's a great place. I highly recommend it!
hair salon in southport – they will lie to you,and only except you if they want,the owner tells them what to say,immature empolyee's,only one person there can cut hair,and he tell's the other empolyee's to lie for him,very sad way to run a buisness,he should be closed down,very sad.liars,mean people,very unprofessional.
Very Unprofessional Colorist/Stylist – I have been going to the same 2 Aveda salons for the past 8 years, but I recently moved and had to find a new salon/stylist in the area. (Such a nightmare!) I booked an appointment at Bella Naturale because they had a decent website, but when I first went to the place I should have cancelled on the spot. Very sketchy location, not what I would expect from an Aveda salon. Being in a rush to get my hair done, I decided to stay. I was greeted once by the receptionist and then proceeded to wait 20 min. for my stylist who didn't tell me she was running late. Only one other client was in the salon, another red flag. When I started talking to my stylist she could not understand what I wanted. She also told me she worked at JCPenny's before. (Psst... not worth $150 to get your hair done by a JCPenny's stylist) We finally decided to do the top my natural color and the underneath darker. When she showed me the color she would be doing I told her it was too golden and too dark in comparison to my natural color but she refused to listen. I even held it up to my roots to show her but she used the color anyway. It turned out a medium golden brown instead of a dark ashy blonde like I have. I had also bleached my hair several months before, so there is still the line in my hair from roots to bleach that I was trying to do away with. A professional stylist would have matched the color correctly so there would be no more line, or prelighten my roots to match better. When it was time to cut my hair, I noticed the seat still had hair from her last client on it, and around the bottom. Very unhygienic and gross to see and be near another clients chopped hair. To finish off, I asked for side swept bangs and she cut it straight across instead of on the diagonal. I would expect this lack of experience/skill at cheaper salons, but not at Aveda.
THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER – Ignore the reviews bashing this place, you'll be happy you did! I have been to this salon several times, recommended it to over 8 people over the past year (all of whom go there now and LOVE it), and I have NEVER once had a bad experience. From the great management staff who listens to my needs and always helps me out, to my amazing stylist who is so popular she is always busy. I know that people can have problems with places, I admit that I started coming to Bella Naturale because of a bad experiences at another salon, but no one can ever ASSUME why stylist come and go from a salon, and, if you ask me, it was those stylist who left loss. This is the first salon I have ever been to where complete strangers walk up to me everywhere and ask me where I get my hair done because they love it so much. Thank you Bella Naturale for always making my hair look amazing!!!
Unprofessional & untruthful. – I went to this salon for about a year or two. Had a fabulous stylist who I just loved. Then all the sudden she wasn't there anymore. I called and was told by whoever answered the phone that my stylist had, overnight, decided to go back to college for a four year degree in something completely different. When I asked what the 'something different' was I was told they didn't know. So I asked to get an appointment with another person there and guess what, he also decided to leave and do something different. HMMM, that just didn't sound right. For the next year I called the salon three different times trying to find out what happened to my stylist, each time being told the same story. After doing some calling around to other Aveda Salons I found out that my stylist in fact was working at another salon. Not sure what happened at Bella Naturale that would cause three stylists to leave (I guess there was a third person who also left), but it must have been something big. Then they lied to me, not once and not twice, but three times. I will never go back to this salon or recommend it to anyone.
Rude Management – The management of this salon is extremely rude to customers. They are unprofessional. They lie and their customer service is the absolute worst I have ever experienced. I would never recommend this place even if it were the last place on earth!
unprofessional management – Great services but the owner has no customer service skills, very unreasonable and unprofessional. Hangs up on customers, rude. The services and good prices not worth the abuse from management.
Great Aveda Salon and Day Spa – Great and affordable salon and day spa in Southport. Friendly staff and fully stocked with Aveda products!
