Authentic – This place is wonderful! We enjoyed the authentic Italian waiters. They were very personable, knowledgeable, and just fun! The ambience is great- it isn't a huge place- kinda reminded me of a mom and pop type restaurant. Food was fabulous and we will certainly go back!

A hint of europe – The lamb took me back to my summer in Greece when my grandmother prepared it fresh.. The sauce was incredible and the service was personal.. Sam was my waiter who went out of his way to make sure I had the most memorable experience.. I'll be back again..

Fabulous Food – This restaurant is definitely worth your $. The food is absolutely wonderful and taste like a slice of heaven. The service was great as well. The minute I arrived, they had greeters at the door with a warming welcome. Me and 2 friends of mine met for dinner and each of us loved our meals. I had a savory fish dish and I ate every bit of it. The ambience is perfect, but I do agree it is not for a large group of people. The decor gives you the feel of "old new orleans" with the brick walls and lace curtains. It is better than most of the higher priced restaurants in New Orleans. After dining, there is a wine loft next door to socialize at after your meal. I look forward to going back really soon. I think they have 1 room that holds large parties.

Warehouse District eatery offers comforting Italian cuisine and a strikingly familiar atmosphere. – The Scene
If Tommy's Cuisine strikes New Orleans gourmands as a Warehouse District outpost of the popular French Quarter restaurant Irene's Cuisine, there's a reason for the familiar vibe. Owner Tommy Andrade adapts that restaurant's time-tested, familial aesthetic to this romantic space, with attentive service and a dimly-lit cucina ambience.

The Food
Anyone familiar with Irene's Creole-Italian offerings will recognize Tommy's standard menu, which seems to be the product of a cross-town culinary cloning project. Many dishes differ in name only--the flavorful Oysters Tommy are an outstanding baked half-shell variation that plays savory pancetta and salty Romano cheese off plump shellfish. A light fried soft-shell crab with a light crawfish-tomato cream (another clone) also shines in new digs. Heady and sweet, a port demi-glace highlights outstanding seared lamb chops--small enough to qualify as a dainty entree or finger food for hands-on carnivores. Save room for the hearty chocolate-hazelnut torte.

Great place to eat – First off the service was wonderful. Our waiter Antoine made the night wonderful for all of us. Food was great. My tutle soup was wonderful. Bread putting was a great way to end the night.

The decor is a little iffy but it is in a very old part of town so it is understandable.

Wonderful food, save room for desert – The food was fantastic. I highly recommend the escargot and veal. They also have a wonderful desert that is a combination of praline pecan bread pudding and bananas foster with ice cream. They also seated us and served us early even though we arrived 15 minutes before the restaurant opened for dinner.
