I really can't understand how this place is always packed when I walk by. I decided to try this place one night, falling for the whole 'well, if it's packed must be good' trap. Big mistake!

The popular shrimp appetizer is basically a $12 bowl of deep fried dough. The shrimp were so small that I couldn't even taste them. The food is basically on the level of a third grade chinese take out...if that!

The food is overpriced for what it is and really not enjoyable if you know what proper food should taste like.

Do yourself a favor and go to Curry in a Hurry across the street!!!

Always Recommended – been going to chinese mirch since the past few years, i have really loved my experience every time. Take a lot of guests here and they are always raving ! Gotta have the lollipops, 65 and the twin pepper lamb. Some times the food is spicier than other days, the waiter said since they use only fresh chilies the spice level varies- either ways its always flavorful, unlike regular chinese. Service is friendly.

Best Indo chinese in town – I have been eating at this place for the last 2 years and there is no comparing this with the greasy soy loaded stuff in jersey. The mirch 65 , chicken hot garlic and the chili paneer is exceptional. Service has always been efficient and we skip the lines on weekends because we live in the city. Head on a week night such as Tuesday and it is awesome !

lovin' it – errrrr....a fusion of Indian and Chinese is different from that of NATIVE Indian's. : P i love it ! FYI: KABAB is not considered an Indian-Chinese cuisine.

Horrible Food Quality – Let me start by saying that I am a native Indian and I know what Indian Chinese food should taste like. I went to this place tonight to have some good food and was looking forward to the experience as there are very few Indian Chinese restaurant in New York. Needless to say, I had the worst experience ever. The food quality is HORRIBLE!!. It was so bad that I had to have an ice-cream post dinner to get the bad taste off my mouth.. Also, I had to wait for good 20-25 minutes for this experience. My evening was ruined. One Advice: Stay away from this place. You are better off getting some kabobs and chai from next door instead.

Worst food ever- save your money!! – This restaurant is a disgrace to Indian chinese cuisine. I went there tonite and am compelled to write this review so you do not waste your money.

Ordered a Gobhi Manchurian (cauliflower chilli) and it was served fried in cornflour batter with raw garlic and spring onions. Hello!!!! look up a receipe if your chef is confused. Also the hot and sour soup left us wondering if they served us the wrong soup (tasted horrible).

Chili chicken was floating in oily gravy. I guess if you put a chilli garnish, you have a right to call that deplorable dish "chilli chicken". Forget the Hakka Noddles, all we tasted were more raw vegetables and none of the wok style cooking that we were anticipating.

Next time, maybe we will drive all the way to Ming in Edison if the indo chinese food craving ever dares to appear after this horrible experience.

It is so dissapointing when the simplest dishes that are impossible to go wrong, are wrong in the restaurant.

Rude People – I did forget to mention one thing about this place that i read in a lot of reviews. That the people who work there are the most rude people i've ever seen or met. And i also agree to one of the reviews that very rude to Indian customers. Even though the people working there have their origins from India still the look down upon others. i dont know if they realise that all these review will change what others feel about the god forsaken place.

Please Pay Attention on Customer Service – last week even when the rest was half empty and tables not occupied.. no reservation tag..

Food was just OK.. nothing special to mention

Need to improve.. Service

combination ... lot left to be said .... lousy service – takeouts not kept ready ... regular feature even ordered 30 - 40 mts in advance...

always forget to put beverages or something in takeouts & delivery

quantity of appetizer dumpling & spring roll very small.. price high..

dumpling tasteless.. would u like to eat at a place where hair is found on food and

instead of deserved apology servers argue to take it off..

only palatable dish was gobi manchurian.. needs lot of improvement

...... . where r u going..?

Good food TERRIBLE SERVICE – I used to love this place! It was very inexpensive, now they have tried to class up the place and change the menu but the food is NOT as good at it use to be and the service STINKS big time. The staff forget to bring your drinks till the end of your meal. Very disorganized operation!!
