Best Experience – I recently stayed in this hotel and it was one of the best experiences i had in NY. Not only is the location great but the hotel is beautiful and the staff is so friendly and helpful!! :)
Say No to this Place! – A group of us decided to spend our New Years Eve and it was AWFUL!!!! They charged 150$ per person and lied about all the details of the party. Chaos errupted towards the end of the night which was around 1:30am when the party was supposed to go to 3am! People lost their coats, they were trampled on, and fights broke out. The advertisement said open bar from 10-3am but there was only one bar to accomodate 1500 people. So you waited like 45 minutes to get a drink! They said that they would be serving top shelf alcohol but that wasn't the case. The hotel was not completely renovated so the "ballroom" they promoted looked like a dark gymnasium. Overrall Huge Thumbs down!
Worst New Years EVER! – Worst New Years party ever. First it took about 30 minutes to get through the door and thats with an $150 advanced ticket purchase. Place was barely renovated. Still had concrete floors. Supposedly 2000 people at the party. One small bathroom available. Place was overcrowded. Open Bar was supposed to be from 10pm-3am. It took us about 20 minutes to get one beer. Then the BAR RAN OUT OF ALCOHOL AT 12:30AM. Most people left around 1:30. So basically, my friends and I payed $150 dollars to have about 4 drinks a piece on New Years Eve. I'm still trying to get my money back.
Scamitime Hotel – What a scam! We arrived at around 10pm and we were greeted with a long line and a 15 minute wait. Once we were inside it was a mad house. We waited another 15 minutes to get a drink and each of us were forced to order five beers a piece just so that we wouldn't have to sit in that line again. The other two bars were VIP. The beer ran out by 1 am and I was forced to sip black label out of a plastic champagne cup because that's all they had left. No fire eaters, no stilt walkers and no sword swallowers and no live feed from Times Square. Fifty people went home without thier coats including a person from my group. Everything that the first guy said was absolutely true. Beware of this hotel and the promoters who ran the party, PARK AVENUE ENTERTAINMENT.
