HORRIBLE!!!Stay far away from this practice. One of the worst dental offices I have ever been to. I went to this office for a exam and teeth cleaning. I am young and they are claiming I have gum disease and that I need a scaling. Mind you I have had perfect teeth my whole life. Never had braces or needed them, No cavities, and never needed my wisdom teeth extracted. So I make an appointment for the scaling for the following Monday. When I walk out of the dentist office I realize that they had chipped my front tooth. I try calling the office and they had already closed for the day. So on Monday I call them to tell them what happened they told me to come in and they would take a look at it. Right away Dr. Do starts by saying " we did not do that, I don't appreciate you blaming us for something we didn't do" before he even looked at it he is saying this. So I had him review my x-rays and pictures of my mouth and sure enough my tooth was NOT chipped when I was in there on Friday but it was chipped now. So he told me I was being to hostile and refused to work on me because i am accusing him of something he did not do. He told my insurance company that it was a callus build up. So needless to say i was not happy and called my insurance. They advised me to get a second opinion. Needless to say I did. I went there this morning and they advised me that It was defiantly chipped and I would needed it bonded and also that I DO NOT need scaling done that a regular cleaning would be just fine for me. Please do yourself a favor and do not go to this practice the staff is horrible. The only nice one was the girl at the front desk.

Vista Dental Group, Vista California – Wish I had read all the other reviews before it was too late. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Eight months later, my teeth still hurt and now they are asking for another $1,000 because the insurance company said that the work that was done was not necessary. Does anyone wish to provide an affidavit for me in case this goes to court?

BEWARE $$$ – All the reviews this far are accurate. I have been going to this office for over 2 years and have spent a lot of money out of pocket and I have good insurance and good teeth. A friend of mine was using this Dent. as well with NO insurance and she paid half of what I paid for the same work. I currently use an HMO with them and asked what the price difference would be on some work I need done if I had PPO and they will not answer the question. Not sure what there hiding but they have given me every excuse in the book. My daughter goes here as well and she ended up walking out because she went in for a simple teeth cleaning and sat in the chair for over 4 hours and all the Dent. kept doing was telling her all the work she needed done and trying to push her into getting financed. She never did get her teeth cleaned. I could go on and on with bad stories about this office but I think you get the pict.

My Open Enrollment is in July so I will be finally choosing another Dent. Anyone know of a good local Dent. that cares about your teeth more than there BMW?

Expect to be there for 8 hours! – I took a friend to have her teeth taken care of and the first day we were there from open to close. NO JOKE. She went to have a routine check up/cleaning/fillings. Within the first 4 hours of waiting there they still did not give her anesthesia to begin her fillings. The manager comes in and bargains with her and tells her if she gets major procedures done she will receive "free" fillings. So what he uses as his bargaining chips are root canals, crowns, and inlays. We go to this dental place twice. The manager walks in and because my friend chooses to not go with the root canal at this moment he changes his mind and says no more free fillings. I can't help but assume its only because my friend told them she did not want to make the monthly "same as cash" payments and paid the entire balance on a single transaction.. mind you her dental work costs over $2,000. This place is just to scam you out of your money and TIME. The second visit, her crowns weren't ready and the Thursday we went (our first visit) they said the crowns would be done and ready the following day. They weren't. In fact, they call her the morning of her next appointment to tell her she didn't have to come in an hour and a half after her original appointment time because they weren't ready. Coming here and not being a patient.. I am SO thankful. I felt so bad for my friend because that appointment.. was dentistry at its worst. I don't know about this dentist and how much anesthesia one is allowed to use on a single sitting but this dentist used several vials and whenever I go to the dentist its only two injections and it does the job. But with her she uses at least 5. So after shes numb and her fillings were completed, the crowns took about 4 hours after her initial appointment time and were finally ready to be adjusted and cemented onto its correct position. The doctor comes back to give her the OK to go and realizes she messed up in cementing a crown! So then the doctor kind of blames my friend (the patient) for moving it when my friend doesn't know what she's doing and is influenced by all the anesthesia. The doctor scolds her even though shes paying for this dental work complete and all at once ($2,000+) and gets frustrated and sends my friend home with part of her tooth exposed. The doctor even has the nerve to ask "Ohh can you come back in 2 days?" I'm there sitting and watching the whole scene... my friend in so much pain.. this doctor was drilling my friends mouth with the numbing already going away. My friend tells her "I feel pain" and so the doctor basically sends my friend home in a lot of pain and we have to go back there tomorrow because the crown she cemented came out crooked. Now the crown has to be cut off. After 8 hours. She didn't even have the courtesy to give her any pain recommendations with her tooth exposed? I am completely frustrated with this dental office. The best advice I can give is AVOID AVOID AVOID. Once they find out you have money they will up-sell, change the plan for you (while they're drilling your mouth and say "Oh, we already drilled it open so we can just do the inlay instead of the filling"), make you go through lots of pain. RIDICULOUS. I will never choose this group to be my dental group.

AWFUL!! – I went in for what I thought was a routine exam and cleaning, and walked out with a recommendation for several thousand dollars of cosmetic dentistry. The doctor came in and gave my mouth about a 30 second exam then pretty much ignored my true concerns. Before I knew it the "billing" person was in the room with an estimate for veneers for my front teeth. WHAT??

I also got the it will cost you extra to have a hygienist "deep clean" your teeth rather than the dental assistant student who told me she did not have the license to use any of the instruments other than the polishing tip. How is that even considered a cleaning at all?

Rip Off – They rushed me out of the office because they were closing, even though it was because they were running behind. The won't clean your teeth until you pay extra for a deep cleaning. They push everything they can get extra out of you; they look at people as walking money bags and could care less about your dental health. Seems like they work for commission since they try to pull every penny out of you. I never felt comfortable coming to this office.

Worst Dentist Practice – They will try to make you pay more for your treatment. Instead of giving you a filling they will advise you to get an Inlay which costs $800. They will not clean your teeth as they want to make more money and charge you for "deep cleaning". Choose another dentist who will not try to rip you off.
