One of the top 2 barbeque places around.. I love a good tender piece of meat, but when you add a great barbeque sauce to it...emmmm.

I have been going to the Longhorn original Longhorn in Auburn since 1989 and it was a great find.

Naturally because I said top 2 I have another barbeque place that is great also. I just can't decide which is better. In my book they are both number 1. I didn't mark it a 10 because there is always room for improvement.

Only those with the manliest appetites should brave this Southern-style barbecue joint, where chicken comes in half, whole and "bucket" sizes, ribs are ordered by the pound, and meals can include one, two or three kinds of meat. "Sideboards" include coleslaw, barbecue beans, potato salad and macaroni salad. The sparse interior is decorated with Old West knickknacks, including antlers and wagon wheels, while country Western favorites play in the background.
