Makes healthy eating so much easier! – I have been living with food allergies for some time now. It is very hard to stick to eating within my dietary guidelines when I am so busy. Often times, I wind up eating a lot of snacks, that even though they are ok for my allergies, I am not getting the variety and the nutrition I know I need. A month ago, I gave myself the gift of Delicious Planet food - I just get a few things a week and it makes such a difference! It is just enough extra help so that I don't have to always be thinking about how I'm going to schedule in time to go to the grocery store and cook. I still cook for myself sometimes, but this service really helps to simplify things for me.
Great food delivered! – I love the whole, organic foods that Delicious Planet delivers. I don't have time to shop or cook so this is a great way for me to save time and eat healthy meals!
Randi Carter lies about her CREDENTIALS!!! – Randi Carter is a complete fraud and liar. She Claims, "I was trained in Nutrition at Seattle's Bastyr University, an accredited private institution known as one of the world's leading centers in the natural health sciences, where I advanced my knowledge in wholesome, organic cooking to promote a healthy lifestyle".
This is a complete LIE!!! She did not graduate and was their for only one semester!!!!
Dont take my word. Contact them yourself,

Delicious Planet in Seattle – I have used this great food delivery service for more that two years. I am happy that the food is organic, that they will consider my food allergy concerns as an individual and that they always deliver on time. My husband enjoys these meals at lunch time because he does not always have time to prepare a meal before he leaves for work and he can have something hot.
Thanks Delicious Planet!
great healthy meals – I have never ordered for myself DP food, but I have recently ate several of their meals at my friend's, who is using their delivery service. We had a small get together with some girlfriends and our hostes made her life simple with warming up DP meals in the microwave and we all had piece of each, family style. All the stuff we had was amazing! I went for seconds and thirds and I can be some critical eater when it comes to lack of flavors or quality meals. I would not think that specially being so demanding on amount of spice as I am, something promoted as very healthy would taste so great. I read the few reviews which were not in favor od DP and I have to strongly dissagree with them. It can be that maybe they did not have the right chef at the time but whoever makes their food these days is a rockstar! Loved it and will recommend it to all my friends. Give it a try, you will see that I was right.
Worst Food Ever – I would never use this service again!!! Bland boring and very sub par. I would rather spend my money elsewhere.
Bland, boring, and poor service. Look at the bottom of the first page of their website. Gift certs for $1000.!? That screams of a company desperate to try and rake in quick money just to survive. – Bland, boring. Look at the bottom of the first page of their website. Gift certs for $1000.!? That screams of a company desperate to try and rake in quick money just to survive. I never add salt to my food, however i was compelled to add salt to this stuff to try and bring out at least SOME kind of flavor. You can promote healthy but this is like being punished for wanting to be healthy. Seattle is full of restaurants that offer delicious healthy options. Do yourself a favor, go out, socialize and find some of the good food in town. A couple of the other reviewers are right, these guys are writing reviews for themselves, trying to save a sinking taco. No NO No.
New Chef? – Delicious Planet and their food was local, organic, super fresh and yummy. Customer service is amazing and so convenient - next day delivery. Delicious Planet is a great little Seattle organic home delivery grocery option for those of us who are busy.
Convenient but frequently bland – I like the idea of healthy, organic food delivered to my door. When I was recovering from a serioius illness it was very helpful, however, I found most of DPs offerings to be bland and rather tasteless. One of the other poster's asked about other meal delivery services so here is one I found: comfort food delivery. I attended a menu tasting event hosted by this company and I have to say I was very impressed with the food. If you like gourmet, foo-foo style food this may not be the best choice, but if you like traditional, american style cooking this looks to be a great alternative to DP.
Unique Idea – Here's the deal with Delicious Planet - or so it occurred to me. You're buying time as much as anything else - in that regard, you're food is practically free. Here's why I say this. You can A. drive to the grocery store, pick out food, come home and either prepare or eat 'carry out' or B. you eat out. Delicious Planet is unique in the sense that it literally shows up at you're door already prepared. I've only done it once so far, but the results are all the same: it saved me a huge amount of time and a lot of hassle. You just show up at you're fridge and wham: gourmet food prepared, ready to eat. It's kind of fun - you don't have to prepare anything.
I will say - it's a bit expensive, but again, I think once you do it you'll see - it makes up for itself in convenience, time saved and overall...it's actually really good.
Also - I prefer showing up at the fridge and knowing that whatever I'm having to eat is "clean" food. It's clean, it's good, and it's fresh. Great ingredients.
I thought they needed more spice / "whizam" in the food - but you know what - you can add it yourself.
I did some potatoes to augment some dishes, but that was it.
I'll be doing this again - it just saves too much time not to do it.
