Authentic Mexican food. Simple, cheap, quick and good quality. Very nice people behind the counter, and everything cooked to order. Food served hot and fresh. This is a great place to go if you have actually experienced true Mexican cooking. A large variety of meal choices, and all of the most common Mexican Beers in bottles and cans. Would be nice to get a margarita here too, but you can't have it all I guess. We've never been disappointed in the food or service here and would go back any time.

Impressive decor and authentic cuisine spice up this Lake Street Mexican cafe.. In Short
A pueblo-like backdrop with warm yellow lanterns and tequila sunrise-colored walls make guests feel as if they're dining in old Mexico. The charming cafe offers speedy takeout or dine-in, although there's no table service. Tasty tacos can be stuffed or rolled with toppings ranging from beef with mint to egg and avocado, sizzling spicy chorizo or smoky steak. Oversized quesadillas ooze with cheese and sauteed meat or veggies and huge tortas come in several varieties.

Mexican in Minnesota. We'd been jones'in for good Mexican after leaving Oregon/Arizona. The staff here was very friendly & accomodating. The flan was nice & creamy. The burrito I had was presented artfully, & the tastes were superb. This is a must-visit if you know Taco Johns isn't Mexican :-)
