The hostess is an idiot! She hasn't a clue how to appropriately sit customers...my wifeand I were there to have a nice quiet dinner for my birthday instead it was a disaster! The porterhouse steak tasted spoiled....the mashed potatoes had more butter than potatoes so it was butter soup so that was wasted as well as the steak! A guy with 3 screaming kids were seated next to us even tho the place was 60% empty...the kids were screaming...playing tag...crawling on the table...spitting soda at each other thru their straws...and raising holy hell! 10 minutes into our meal we by then had migraines and took our $92 meal to go! The food wasn't worth it...McDonald's would have been better and so would the experience at least we would b prepared to deal with brats...and no one said a thing to the father who just let Hus kids do whatever they wanted yet he'd b the 1st to bitch if kids were banned from nice resteraunts! I want my $$$ back!!!

Longhorn Steakhouse is located in the middle of a bunch of other food establishments on Trooper Road. I went here because I have never been to one before. I would relate it to a Texas Road House, though the bread is a bit better.

I went in for lunch with my family and we got seated right away. Too bad our waitress didn't make it over for about five minutes after that to take our drink order. Our waitress was also the bartender and we were definitely not her top priority seeing as we only spoke to her about three times throughout the meal (once to order drinks, once to order food, and once for the check). The food wasn't bad and was affordable with their new lunch combinations. The prime rib sandwich was a little dry and definitely needed the horseradish sauce that was on the side. The chilli was a little too sweet for my taste, but was at least hot when I got it. The portions were not that big, but it could have been because we ordered from the lunch special menu. I didn't get to try dessert but will definitely try the fried cheesecake bites if decide the main meal is worth it again.

National chain rustles up rib eyes, T-bones and fillets in a kid-friendly, Lone Star-inspired setting. – In Short
One of the country's most successful steakhouse empires attracts a casual crowd with huge, reasonably priced steak dinners and a tempered Texan milieu (country music and imposing cattle busts). Wise diners turn off their internal calorie counters, as many menu items arrive fried, covered in cheese, or both. A typically rich meal starts with cheese fries, followed by a blue cheese-crusted fillet. Fried cheesecake ends the night on a note of Texas-sized decadence.
