Worthless Customer Service
We're not fans of DirecTV to begin with, but we had to switch to them from Dish network because our condo is Sky Satellite controlled property in Daybreak, South Jordan. We keep getting bounced back and forth between DTV & Sky Sat with each company not taking charge in solving the problem or providing a new box. too many wasted calls & wasted time and no quick resolution. AVOID THEM !!
Terrible service. I am stuck using this substandard service at Eaglewood Lofts, these clowns can't even get their box to work on what the technician called an "easy and painless installation". They do not keep their appointment times and when you call to ask where they are they call you a liar. You're better off pounding your head on a brick wall than to expect this company to help you.
Knowledgeable, helpful and friendly...Johnny answered my questions thoroughly and honestly and offered more help when I needed it...they even comped me a power cord for a lost one for a satellite box, saving me a lot of times and grief! I'll be using them again...
Awesome service – I have been with this group for about six months. I needed reach Sky for a customer service issue and looked them up online. I saw the reviews that are listed below. I spoke to the curtomer service rep and encouraged him to address the issues because I believe they are misleading. My experience with SKy has been wonderful. Rather than having to wait at home for several hours at home, they called me when they were on the way to install and I met them. They have responded quickly to every call I have made and their assistance over the phone has always been adequate in fixing any problems. The bill was exactly what they said it would be, and I signed up for the TV/Wireless/Phone bundle through SKy and Clear. I have had nothing but good experiences with this company.
Previous Reviews – I am an employee at Sky Satellite. Soldierlove's review is a very interesting considering that we have never sold door to door. So either this person is confused about who did their installation or it is a competitor trying to make us look bad.
I don't know about the other comment. There may be a legitimate issue there, however, typically when we get feedback about the installer not getting the receiver working before he left it was because the customer wanted it installed before they got a TV in that room so the installer was not able to test it before he left. The troubleshooting we do over the phone is to try and get the customer up and running as fast as possible so they don't have to wait for a service call later that day or the next.
Bad Customer Service – Got the box installed Monday, didn't get it working until Wednesday. It would've been nice if they checked to see if the box they installed actually worked before leaving. Even after I told the guy on the phone I already went through DirecTV tech support, he still preceded to ask me if I "turned it on" and sort of treated me like an idiot.
DISGUSTING!!! – The people who work at sky satellite have NO sense of customer service. A man, if I can call him that, came into my home, lied to my face about the cost of the products, VIOLATED me and my trust and then left. I was none the wiser until I got the bill in the mail. I tried for 6 weeks to get the issue resolved. Most of the time I called, a sales rep treated me like crap, said he would call back and never did. Finally, on my last call with them the guy who did the original installation was on a conference call with me and the sales rep.. THEY ARE LIARS... PERIOD. No matter what I said, they stuck to thier story and gave me no choice. They are ripping me off for over $100, and they show no mercy in letting me know that I have no control over the situation. IT IS A HORRIBLE business. Please do not ignore this review, do not support local lying JERKS.
