Great haircut – I actually got my haircut at the Spectum salon. Tamara was her name. WOW!!!! She is hot!!!!! Did i mention she was hot. Anyways, I wasn't really sure what kind of haircut I should get. Tamara was very knowledgeable about the types of cuts i should get. I still wasn't sure on how I should cut my hair so I told her that she was the professional and do what she thinks would work. In the end, she did an amazing cut. It was worth the time in going to the salon. Not only was she very professional, she was also hot and smelled good. Yummy! She is now my only stylist.

The salon was very clean and the atmosphere in there didn't make you feel like you were in a "salon". They were fully stocked with an assortment of products tailored for men. You can get a good haircut anywhere, but if you want a great haircut, go to 18|8.

Just what I wanted – I too received a haircut from Cherise. I logged on to City Search to describe my experience and was a little taken back by the way the last reviewer described his experience. Unsatisfied is one thing. It sounds

like he had a problem communicating exactly what he wanted. While I understood from talking to Cherise that she is a little new to the salon I relayed the type of cut I wanted and she delivered. I would rank her ability at an "A". I have always received my haircuts from Men's Salons rather than the standard Barder shop and have been looking for a new one for some time now. I am certain I have found one with 18/8.

Sorry dude about your experience. But mine was just what I wanted. PERFECT!

Absolutely the worst haircut I have ever received... – I made an appointment at this "salon" based on the relatively positive reviews that I saw online, and I could not possibly have had a worse experience.

My "stylist" (Charise?) was inexperienced, and completely butchered my hair. To be fair, things were progressing reasonably until my request that she "cut the top pretty short"... at which point she took clippers and literally shaved a strip down the center of my head to the skin. She then proceeded to attempt to even it out all the while making awkward conversation... as we both knew that she had just completely butchered my hair and that there was very little that she could do to fix it.

Eventually, she decided that we were done, and showed me out. She told the receptionist to charge me for a "buzzcut" instead of a full haircut, as that was what it had eventually become (she literally scribbled out "haircut" on the slip and wrote "buzzcut").

The punchline... I was so freaked out by my *literally* Frankenstein-like appearance that I immediately drove to a 7$ barbershop to have them "fix it". A very understanding guy at Twin Peaks Barbershop actually managed to blend my shaved head into the rest respectably enough that it at least looked more like I made a really bad choice of haircut rather than had my head half-shaved by a moron. He was kind enough to joke with me about it without making fun of me. I appreciated that.

I literally had to wear a hat for 2-3 weeks before it grew out enough for me to feel comfortable being seen.

Avoid this place at all costs.
