Very Disappointed in my stay – Was happy to be in Richland to attend my nephews wedding, but by staying at the Courtyard by Marriott was a huge mistake. Upon check-in (it was late but I had reservations WITH A CONFIRMATION NUMBER AND STATEMENT), I found that they did not honor my requests or my confirmation - and I'm even a Plantium Marriott member. When asked why I did not get what was on my reservation, their answer was "I'm Sorry". Well, not good enough for me, but had no choice but to stay. Then after two nights there, left early and right after leaving I realized I left something in the room, I called back and they said that "nothing was turned in from that room". Well, where did it go? The funny thing about it all was; they didn't even ask me what I had left behind. But then I told them if they went to the room "right" now they would find it. The person on the phone said "Nothing has been turned in and we will call if there is". Couldn't believe it. They were rude, unorganized and down right unresponsive. And I never did get a call. Guess someone felt they needed the item more than I did. I would have even paid for it to be mailed back to me but now, some employee of the hotel is wearing a very nice black sweater. I have family in Richland and love to visit them - WILL NEVER STAY at this Marriott again. Wow, Marriott, you need to look into this hotel and the employees that work there.

Moderately priced hotel offers a breakfast buffet, in-room work spaces and other amenities for business travelers. – In Short
The first Marriott hotel opened in 1957, and has since expanded to several different brands, with Courtyard serving business travelers. In addition to free daily newspaper delivery, media-equipped meeting rooms and buffet breakfasts in their on-site restaurant, most locations also offer The Market--a 24-hour shop for food and refreshments. Rooms include well-lit work spaces, ergonomic desk chairs, separate sitting areas and free high-speed Internet (participating locations). The front desk offers faxing, copying and printing services.

Don't Stay Here – While the property is new and has great potential, they also have the rudest staff & Management I have ever experienced. I'm a platnium Marriott member and have never before been to a hotel that tried so hard to make me uncomfortable. I shortened a 7 nite stay to 1 nite and found another hotel in the area that was happy to have my business and make me feel comfortable.
