Not Worth the Trip.
We had heard good things about the Bone Yard. However, we were very disappointed by our eating experience. The menu selection looks as good as any other barbeque restaurant. How can you have anything but ribs, your first time to the bone yard? One of us got the 3/4 slab which was an impressive piece of meat. However, the ribs weren?t very tender and did not fall off the bone. In addition, there wasn?t much sauce to speak of nor did there appear to be a dry rub on the ribs; they were pretty bland. There side dishes weren?t very impressive either. The corn on the cob was half cold; undoubtedly because it had been microwaved. The cottage fries were burned, greasy, soggy and unpleasant to eat. Even the coleslaw was light on dressing.
It was a disappointing meal. It would have been nice if at some point the waitress had asked us how the meal was. She never did. Our recommendation is to stay away from the Bone Yard.

Savory barbecue and a sports bar feel keep locals coming back for more..
In Short
A full bar and plenty of televisions make the Boneyard an ideal place for sports fans hoping to catch the big game, and some addictive, finger-licking good barbecue. Dripping in a sauce that is zesty without being too spicy, the ribs and chicken are undoubtedly the draw here, bu the Boneyard also offers a wide variety of entrees for patrons who prefer not to get their fingers messy.
