Tips for Hush Restaurant
Decent, but I wouldn't go back.. Hush is a nice try, but cant quite be what it wants to be, and is certainly charging more than it should! Overall the food was good but not in line with the price. The pear salad was a failure, stuffed with cheese that did not compliment the pear, and then with a dressing that did not compliment either. The cheese plate was good. Meat in the main courses was overall quite excellent (we had pork, beef, and the Peking duck). The duck ravioli that accompanied the breast had a very dry filling and was tasteless. But, meat is definitely Hushs strong point. The dessert was average, with some strangeness. Cocktails were nothing special and overpriced. The atmosphere is pleasant and chic. The bar better than the dining room which is somewhat loud. Service was very good overall. Bottom line: I dont necessarily regret it, but I wouldnt go back.
A hedonistic experience.
This was one of the most memorable experiences I have ever had. I can not say enough about the help Danny gave to our table, and how comfortable he made everyone.
Everyone should give this restaurant a try and not just on special occasions
Shop Late-Eat Late. My husband and I were informed about Hush after shopping well past 10pm at Max Regal, a high-end boutique for men and women, which itself is next to Tabu and open late for that reason. Tabu was closing so the gentleman at Max Regal told us about Hush and it's late-night menu and bar crowd. We were impressed by the cool style of Hush and it's interior...but the food is what we were impressed with...World Class! I had the Sea Bass my husband had the Filet Mignon...We were dining past midnight, finally in OC! Can't wait to go back!
