Sweets fanatics will find a slice of heaven at these two European-style dessert shops.. In Short
The second-floor store houses a kitchen and candy counter showcasing the creations made on-site. There's also a patio and sofas where guests relax and nibble desserts. The offerings include handmade chocolates and pastries made with the finest ingredients: Australian apricots, peanuts from Virginia, plump strawberries from California. Candies include a gooey caramel or sinful Kahlua truffle, while the Death by Chocolate torte features layers of devil's food cake, chocolate Vienna cream and French chocolate buttercream.

Overrated and Overpriced. There's not much to say about this other than the desserts look very nice and the atmosphere is fun. For a first date, this might be entertaining to just visit and see. As a chocolate lover and someone who enjoys trying new things, I found this to be bland and overpriced.

fantastic chocolate experience. My husband and I have been to the Chocolate Swan several times. The staff is warm , friendly and very helpful. We have tried several of their desserts...our favorites are the "too die for" chocolate dipped strawberries and their carrot cake. A huge bonus is to have the carrot cake and a glass of wine ...sit out on their patio and do some people watching. Can't wait until we go back and try some of the other desserts to add to our list of favorites! tbyars

User review by ronibidz. Great for a chocolate covered strawberry, or just about anything sweet you can dream of. This place has unique & fun gifts too. I enjoy stopping in everytime I'm at Mandalay.
