Sweet tooths line up for ice cream concoctions made on a granite slab. – In Short
Crowds of couples, teenagers and parents with toddlers press up against the long refrigerated display case at this dessert chain, where a variety of ice creams, frozen yogurts and sorbets are made in-store daily. Customers choose flavors like sweet cream, cake batter or banana, add mix-ins--ranging from candy bar chunks and Gummi bears to hot fudge and peanut butter--then servers mash it all together on a frozen slab of granite.
Awesome ice cream, not for calorie counters. – Cold Stone Creamery sometimes gets a bad rap because of the uber-high calorie content of their delectable homemade ice cream. I must cry foul on this claim, since they offer a small, medium, and large size cup and a variety of low fat ice creams as well.
Sure, when i was a wee lad I crammed my face with the Gotta have-it sized Peanut Butter Cup Perfection (a concoction consisting of chocolate ice cream, hot fudge, peanut butter, and Reeses PB cups), but since I have learned that moderation is key. A small (Like it size) cheesecake ice-cream suits me just fine.
By all means though, if you feel like splurging on a 1500 calorie gut-buster, it will be the best twenty minutes (less, if you're really hungry) of your life. A seemingly limitless amount of toppings will keep the most loyal ice-cream lovers coming back for more. Also, interestingly enough, Cold Stone delivers via Foodler. Cool, huh?
If you love IceCream – We went to the Charlestown location. Small crowd when we went in but the server got right to us & when another was done helping someone eles she came over to help with our order. The ice cream is thick & creamy! We got three different kinds and you cant go wrong. Fresh, Fresh, Fresh!
You will pay the price for high quality though= we got 3 smalls= $16.00 + tip
watch your server+ one server was scooping it on (3 scoops/sm size)while the other that came over to help only put one scoop (1 scoop/sm size)on a cone?????
