User review by jlstephens – I agree with the previous reviews concerning ambience, people watching, etc. My review concerns the poorly prepared food received on a first visit. All four in the party ordered the tournedo di manzo, a filet with tomatoes and hollandaise, medium. Two received what was ordered and the food was delicious; the other two received pieces of charred, black meat that could not be consumed. When discussing the problem with the waiter, all he could say was that it wasn't his fault. In fairness, he called the manager and the two bad meals were taken off the bill. However, the damage was done for a first impression. Maybe it will be better on a different day, but it certainly isn't worth a one week reservation in my opinion.

Great Italian Lunch! Awesome Service! – I tried this place for lunch after shopping at Plaza Frontenac. I arrived after the lunch crowd left and was seated right away. The service was very nice from front desk to end. The Chicken Diavolo was divine! Food quality is top notch. My waitress was very attentive. This is a great place to go for lunch!

Standard Italian fare, showy decor and a well-dressed crowd woo West County dwellers to this high-end corporate chain. – In Short
Brio's cavernous dining room, accented with columns and other Tuscan touches, allows for prime people-watching, which is the real draw at this upscale chain. Weekend reservations run two to three weeks in advance, and are primarily sought by the 40-something county crowd. Entrees--gourmet pizzas, pasta dishes (spaghettini pomodoro), grilled seafood and steaks--are excessively portioned, perfect for sharing. Join the schmoozing young professionals sipping house Bellinis at the bustling bar.
