A throwback to the 1950s, this restaurant offers huge burgers and more than 50 flavors of shakes. – In Short
The family-friendly chain, with its blue and metallic furniture and bright-pink neon lights, has a clear retro spark. The hamburgers range from 5.5 to 20 ounces; completion of the latter will get the customer's picture displayed on the wall next to other "Wall of Famers." Burgers and sandwiches can be crowned with any of the 20 different toppings and a variety of cheeses. The 56 shake flavors include chocolate, watermelon, peanut butter and more.
Not for the burger purist – This is a sad enterprise. Their obnoxious lack of respect for their customer's preferences set by the home office make this a place to avoid. The quality of their beef is especially a concern as they refuse to cook their meat rare or shockingly, even medium rare. On a positive note, the servers are nice and merely victims of an oppressive set of rules which they have no control over. Their Texas Horsradish sauce is delicious and would go well with a burger you cook at home. If you enjoy your burgers well done, then this might not be a bad choice for you. WARNING! If you are allergic to or dislike olives, be aware that they put little pieces of them on and in EVERYTHING, without asking! Be sure to say "No Olives Please" if you do choose to try this restaurant and don't want to waste time picking out the olive pieces.
Amazing burgers, absolute best shakes & onion rings – Very friendly, neighborhood atmosphere--great place for lunch and dinner. Food is soooo, soooo good. I discovered this place about 6 months ago, and have been back at least 8 times and twice for take-out!!!
Outstanding Food, Great Service – This place has the best burgers I've ever tasted. Real hand-cut fries and without a doubt the world's best onion rings. My family and I found out about Cheeburger Cheeburger from the 'Best Of' listings on Citysearch and we now have a new favorite place. We're telling all our friends.
Best burger anywhere!!!! Frazer Pa. Route 30 – I was able to ger my burger cooked medium and not burned like most restaurants, I was also happy to find out they had table service which was relaxing.
My kids were happy as well with their meal that came served in a classic car they could keep.
My wife had a salad of course that was topped with anything she liked and a verry big portion.
But the best was the fresh cut and cooked onion rings, the best ive ever had.
We will be going back.
User review by 57butler – Langhorne Cheeburger Cheeburger had the best burgers I've ever had. Simply amazing. It is clean and kid friendly. The wait staff is extremely friendly. Awesome place, awesome burgers.
Cheeburger x 2 rocks – I vote for the Langhorne Cheeburger2-the place is clean, the staff friendly & knowledgeable & the food outstanding! A semi with cheese, toppings du jour & a basket of frings is nirvana! Cooked to perfection! I'd give it a 10!!!!
Better Burgers - Chee-Whiz – The wait staff asks how you want your burger & it delivered exactly as requrested. They have so many free toppings for the burger that it is difficult to decide. The Onion rings are superior to any in our area. Great place to take children. It is as if one is in a 1950's diner.
The milkshakes are the real deal & each month they add seasonal specials.
Priced fairly & the wait staff is very helpful & just the right amount of attention. Try it
